Square Enix pretty much severed every ties with 3rd party studios during their first figures, when they were together with Kotobukiya. Their price skyrocketed after that. They have their own figures, their own store. Every money is theirs. I hope that GT will keep to themselves. I've read stories that for Resident Evil, Capcom basically ordered the creator studio to make the headsculpt ugly. I'll post the screenshot and the image in a minute.

Yeah it does suck to see how they handle their products and how overpriced they tend to be. But as I said before I do understand that it is for the best that Game toys keep doing what they are doing and remain 3rd party.

They nailed some of his features, but it's missing the Sephirothness... Gametoys Sephy has that. It's perfect.

I think they just need to lessen the eyebags and add a bit more hair at the front.

I have a feeling a lot of these artists use the polygon models ripped right from the game. It's how people make those cg fanarts you see everywhere on FB, deviantart, etc. They upload the model into zbrush, smooth it out and add their own textures since the models without the 3D textures look ugly and jagged. I noticed too the only live actor he's made is Keanu Reeves and he could have easily gotten that model ripped right from Cyberpunk.

Here's someone on Ebay that used the model from the game (XNAlara files) and smoothed it out and printed it in 1/6 to mold/cast for eBay.

Some sneaky sculptors will print the file out and then go over it and texture it with a thin layer of clay and claim it was their own sculpt.

YO! This looks amazing they might be going for a seamless body this time with that wide range of motion the poses are endless and can be very dynamic. Now I for sure will be getting AC Cloud and Fenrir.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that VTS took the in-game model for Cloud's boots. The under tread is a perfect match to the low poly model, even including all the telltale signs of just subdividing a low poly model that wasn't meant to be subdivided lol.

Hope they don't do anything ridiculous with Tifa. There's an endless amount of ****** third party statues and figures of her that have just attempted to make it a NSFW thing out of her. Hope they don't go that route. That sculpt is looking really good.

Really hoping Tifa comes with a proper custom body with accurate muscle tone. And these are 1/6 clothed figures... you can't avoid people making nude Tifas unless you want the clothing glued on to the body or something. Let them recreate their favorite hentai with them, who cares.

If they don't make the body anatomically correct, it can be a deterrent. I mean, we have a bunch of clothed 1/6 Hot Toys stuff but I don't see attempts to recreate those in nude or at least not to the point where I see Tifa customs with big boobs, cast offs, or nipples poking through clothing.

I'm not talking about people making nude Tifas with the figure they get, I mean these companies blatantly making weird looking Tifas straight out of the box to begin with.

I'm hoping GameToys just makes an accurate Tifa from head to toe.

This is as close as it can get. All the former 3rd party stuff that I have seen were just lewd ****. The only nitpick I have currently which they will definitely add is her earrings. I am with GT as long as they do FFVII. After that, I'm done. I was not able to get the Daytona, but AC Cloud with Fenrir will do as well.
