I mean they could add something as post-credits, like showing some of the things that happened differently to CCā€™s ending, like the ol ā€œin another time, another placeā€ thing and keep that promise as well as add something extra since it wouldnā€™t actually change anything for CC itself.

Also I donā€™t remember- DID they actually have conflicting statements, or just cleverly worded ones? I know sometimes the two can be conflated, and then word travels like a wildfire version of the telephone game.
If I recall correctly it was conflicting statements between Kitase and Nomura. I'd have to find the instances where their statements are wildly different.

Finally got my Second Class body, now the Zack shelf is complete!

...well, at least until the PAK I preordered comes in :))))

Oh, and also the Sephiroth I borked the wrist on finally got his replacement from square. Since they sent me the whole figure I decided to take a gamble and try to repaint the hair piece on the new one. Needless to say, I love it.

Not a fan of the seamless arms?

Great job!

Not particularly. I'm very new to 1/6th collecting, a majority of my collections is 1/12th so most of everything I have is not seem less, and I just wanted to go with what I knew was going to hold up
Thatā€™s fair enough. Your collection, your rules. ;) I know others favour the jointed arms for the same reason.

What paint did you use ? This was the main reason I didnā€™t pick him up wouldnā€™t mind buying one now and doing this myself

Haha thanks! Nothing against seamless, just I've heard horror stories and I prefer posing my figure in poses with bent arms, so I just figured go with the safer option haha.

Like a $10 can of Tamiya FINE white primer. The head all pops apart, a little heat and you have all of the silver-casted head parts, give it a few thin coats going slow, and that's the result. Obviously you could go more in depth, do a highlight or a wash, but frankly how it came out looks spot on to FFVIIR Sephiroth to me. I believe he's still about $100 shipped from amiami, but I can't confirm, that's just how I got him. But again, watch those wrists šŸ˜‚šŸ˜

Not sure how new this company still is, but I am curious if they are planning to do any re-releases for their figures.
Maybe it will only be for one as popular as Cloud, but what do we think the chances of them dropping new stock on sold-out figures is in the near future?

they've said there will be no re-releases

I know someone here said Zack and Seph are getting rereleased but only with the new bodies so thereā€™s that and I would imagine the same would happen for remake Zack since it seems everything theyā€™re doing forward will be the all silicone or half options so perhaps it can happen just for continuity

Plus Zack has a new sword in Reunion, more in line with the one Cloud has in Remake, so I'm sure they'll give him that new one too

Would be nice to get an updated sculpt too. I know their Zack was more in line with CC than remake Zack so new hair and eye color would make him perfect

Alejandro asked for more pics of Sephiroth posed up, figured I'd share them publicly while I'm at it, and one very flashed-out image of the shelf as a whole
A few things to note about Sephiroth:

-before getting him I watched a few reviews and people were under the impression that the shoulder pads kept his arms from going up too far. This is not the case at all, as evident from the third picture. What's doing it is the paint sticking on the joint. How I fixed this was getting a hairdryer, heating up under the shoulder and popping the whole arm out, and then heating the joint itself until it moves, and adding some silicone shock oil and moving it back and forth to get it in there to make it more willing to move in the future.
-the wrists are very fragile. Heating every hand first before trying to put it on SHOULD make it easier to pop them on and off and not put too ku u pressure on the fragile under joint.
-the hair, like I said, all pops off allowing you to set it up and paint it. I use little clips that hold the pieces up and make it easier to paint. Tamiya FINE white primer is what I used for that. I'd say going a step further and getting a good topcoat of your choice would be smart. Tamiya matte clear is good, or Krylon matte clear if you want more mileage out of the can since it's so much for so cheap.

Hope this helps anyone who wanted to do it!

But could they do like a new cloud for Rebirth or something? Obviously it's all speculation

At this stage, their releases are so far in between, I doubt it. Rebirth is maybe about 14 months away now (barring a delay), I don't even think their Aerith figure will be out by then.

Thanks for the responses, it's such a shame they won't plan on any reissues. I might get Aerith from this line when she releases, but I really can't see myself spending Ā£500+ just to get the Cloud that I missed out on :monkey2

AC Cloud is coming out in Q1 next year and if you keep a vigilant eye on sellers you might be able to catch one for roughly his standard market price.

If you specifically want his remake look, at this point it's pretty unlikely.
