The AC ones were stylized sculpts. The Tifa he specifically mentioned he was going as close to 100% accuracy as possible. He already started working on Remake Cloud going for accuracy as seen below in black and white. If you need reference to his other work, check out these sculpts he did. I hope I don't get busted for posting something DC related, but it's relevant since it's the same artist that is working on The Remake sculpts. *Edit* added another pic of his stylized AC Cloud */edit*
Personally I have Solar statues ordered which I'm most excited for since fight dioramas don't look as good with figures imo, I'll get this Cloud and Tifa by Binjie and I got a couple AC GT Clouds on pre-order. Definitely going to hurt this year and I'm selling a lot of my collection to go for all the FFVII stuff.

I'm both a statue and figure collector and the advantage a statue has when it comes to dynamic poses is how the muscles stretch naturally. I love the mixed media and head sculpts of the gametoys so there's no way I can say no to collecting them as well (and they're painted better than most sculpts). I wish they offered 1/4 versions as well.
A 1/4 Fran statue would be an instant buy for me definitely!Yep.. Definitely will be buying that 1/4 Tifa. For a while I've been in need of the perfect one. Hopefully that's it. Now I just need the perfect 1/4 Fran, Aerith, Yuffie and 2B

It’s stupidity like this that makes me resent SE more and more.
They seriously need to get off their high horse of thinking their name is some luxurious brand and the pricing of their games and merchandise should match.
Their FF 1-6 pixel remaster physical for PS4 and Switch prices were RIDICULOUS.

I’m glad they’re not interested in doing 1/6 figures. The most basic character with no accessories would probably cost $400.

The $600 KH3 chess set that can't even be played as regular chess is maybe the most offensive thing they've done so far imo. The gold pieces are painted.

Oh wow lol! Even fs the price was around $120, I find it hard to justify and to pull the trigger for what wed get on this one. Heck well be even lucky if they dont botch up the paint apps on the final product.

It actually looks nice and i like this spikeier head tail going on but it's not worth the price their asking for.

Yeah the face isn't there at the moment, plenty of time for more work though. Cloud looks good.
Such an easy release for Square, they already had the body sculpted from the last Zack they made. The headsculpt looks great but I can't get over those elbows. They look nice from the front but so strange when bent. And I don't think I'll ever get over the fact they're not using the original Crisis Core Buster Sword with the gold hilt. I know there's some type of "for relevance of the story" thing going on with changing the sword to match Cloud's sword, but still. Just very very happy to own the Gametoys Zack, for their attention to detail and respect to the original material.
