Just spent the last 10 mins looking this guy up and down trying to find which was the painted one Also, now I have him in hand, I'm thinking of sealing all these fake zippers with a matt varnish and adding the 303 sealer on the jacket / trousers. All I can do is preserve right?

Gametoys claimed they used genuine leather (in the actual description for Sephiroth), so if they really did you shouldn't really need the 303, but honestly it doesn't feel like they did

I changed Zack's sword to the new buster sword from FF7 Remake.
Overall, I like the figure but I find that the arms are too thin and Zack is not strong like at the start of FF7 Rebirth.

The neck also which is not long enough + the eyes of the face which I find dull compared to the eyes of the other gametoys figurine that I own (Cloud AC).

Besides, my Cloud AC has bigger arms than Zack
It should normally be the opposite ^^

Otherwise I also recently received 2 small 10 cm figurines from the Adore arts range

Absolutely! My rational self was telling me 2 photos weren't problematic in the quality of the SGD, but my collector self, arguably irrational lol, was telling me it's all downhill.

This update makes me feel so much better.

I've never had an eye for photography, but figure collectors who take amazing photos have really taught me the skill it takes to make sure things like angle, lighting, posing, colour correction etc. are right for the figure. Mess up one of those things and a lot of figures just don't show well on a screen.

They probably did. Genuine Leather is bottom of the barrel leather scraps. Genuine Leather will also peel and flake after a few years.

(Genuine Leather will deteriorates but will last much longer that pleather. My HT DX leather jacket was my first HT back then and the jacket still holds to this day. (I live in a very humid country) While The HT MGS2 snakes pleather who i got the same year disintegrated in a year or 2 and lets not talk about those DC and marvel pleather materials hahaha! W/c is why i appreciate what GT does here that tends to minimize the use of pleather/ leathers and goes with sculpted plastic instead XD

yeah those, those zippers are like decals right onto the pleather coat/jacket right? any fix on that? mine started peeling off

I had Zack but I sold him pretty quickly, wasn’t satisfied with the sculpt and eyes.

This was my problem too. The promo pics looked way better but still off. GT has gotten way better since Zack released so really really hoping for a V2 with a better body and sculpt. His thin arms and barely painted eyes ruined it for me. Now that rebirth is out and everyone is more on the Zack hype train would be a perfect time for a revision

The right lense is also important. Look up pics of portraits using different lenses and you'll see crazy different results. I wish they used better quality pics for their last update though.

This is awesome because it’s what I wanted and even mentioned it in my Zack review. If there was a 2.0, I want a better body and battle damage, as well as the ReMake buster sword.
