kinda agree but i’m hoping that’s because it’s a render, feels like it’s really only the colouring since original cloud was drawn a lot more monotone than this. i’d like to get this but looking at this studio’s other stuff, somewhere in the 350-400 range for a 1/6 statue w/ low ish detail seems like a lot 😭

this tifa is not great but not terrible...got here super fast from kit. she's not easy to pose and her suspenders are hard to keep them where you want them to be.Also really scared to change her hands because i tried and i was scared i was gonna break it.put her next to spidey to show the scale

( ignore her eyes thats my fault )

The head seems severely oversized for the size of the body

So I picked up yuffie and tried it with the tbleague s24. The upper body fits the clothes better than the s44 but the waist is still too loose. Height feels accurate at least.

Not sure I can get over the janky face tho... btw does anyone have any advice for adjusting the ball joints for loose head/hand parts?

Here's a quick one, whilst waiting for my SD Yuffie, I too am curious at finding the right body in relationship to the GT line. Made this quick guide based on Rebirth's outfit selection. As it seems the background / dressing room is the constant for all the models, compared to GT Cloud. Probably not super accurate due to stances but should give some indication of height / proportion at least

Was able to get a SD Aerith set for reasonably cheap. I really like it, all nitpicky issues I have aside such as the rooted hair. it’ll do till Toys Era release theirs around part 3 lol. If they ever do that is

Appreciate the body showcases for the Yuffie, worldbox looks ideal for me. Tbh.

Yea this was my first experience with superduck and will probably be my last. Gave it a shot cause I don't think anyone else will make Yuffie.

That Aerith doesn't look as bad tho, at least I can recognize the face. Hopefully the toys era turns out good, along with ACG, cause the wait for gametoys is roughhhhh

It's a shame because their tailoring is really nice. Idk why they can't invest in a better sculptor and paint applicator. I guess because they've done 170+ characters and people still buy them
Agreed on this point. Their tailoring is really solid, the problem is with the head sculpts. Which is what a lot of people look at for these figures.

I'm surprised with all the 3d model access that the remake/rebirth games have available that we get these head sculpts that look like random dolls in cosplay.

kind of a random Q, but does anyone have any ever crisis costumes they’d totally want to see in fig or statue form? The Bahamut skins were really cool to me

Here's the set on the Worldbox at201:

The fit is pretty much perfect, you'd think it was tailored specifically to this body. The only thing I'd change is making the sweater a smidge longer. I would definitely recommend this body for anybody unbothered by visible joints, as she scales really well imo.

I did promise to show what the set looks like on the TBleague s44, and, well, not nearly as good lol:

Figure is just much too thin. Everything is loose and even on the tightest option the harness is way oversized. I didn't bother futzing with it and trying to actually make it look good because it was a lost cause and at that point I had already settled on using the worldbox body. She's basically exactly the same height as the at201, but just absurdly thin. And the hands don't even fit the pegs out of the box (they fit the worldbox perfectly).

I do want to give Superduck the credit they deserve, this set is a monumental step up in quality from the previous sets I've bought. It's been several years and dozens of releases since I last gave them a chance, but they've definitely improved in that time. The headsculpt is still generic and lame, but the clothing is higher quality and doesn't feel like the stitching will give out the first time you try to put it on a figure, and the plastic parts are made of much better plastic and have a much better paintjob than the old ones I've had in hand. The paint is still pretty basic, don't misunderstand, but it's all within the lines this time lol. I'm actually quite happy with this purchase, all things considered.

And a final shot of the current Remake shelf:

Whats the difference between the A and B sets, like is the A set attire underneath the moogle cape?
