Hello I just joined this site. Well I joined a while ago but I completely forgot that I already had an account here lol.
Anyway I love Firefly. I am obsessed with it! I have the show and Serenity both on DVD and blu ray. And I have a few collectables too!
I have met 5 of the cast and I am really really really into anything to do with the show and movie!
I also love sci-fi like Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, Farscape, etc and I love fantasy too like Hercules The Legendary Journeys and Xena Warrior Princess. I have watched a lot of shows. I remember SeaQuest DSV or possibly a show called Earth 2 was one of the first shows I watched. Oh and Sliders! I have been a fan of shows like this for a long time. Going back to my High School years.
And I am a bit of a convention addict. I have been to 11 since 2012. Or maybe it was 12 I forget. I've lost count lol.
So that is a bit about me.

Hercules, Xena, Stargate, Farscape, SeaQuest, I grew up on all of those . It's kind of sad how SeaQuest was cancelled after a few seasons.

On a related note, I saw your other thread in the Whedon section. As it happens, a friend and I were working with Sean Dabbs to create two head-sculpts of Summer Glau from TSCC. The project's been closed, but if you're interested, maybe you can PM Sean and he can add you to the list. He decided to add someone new last week.

I used to absolutely love Stargate Atlantis (and SG-1) too - I was gutted when they ended! Serenity is such an awesome film too!

Yes I got both my DVDs and blu rays signed! It took a while as you can imagine. The first time I met Summer and Morena was a gruelling experience. To get a photo token to have my pic taken with her I waited in line for 4 hours. And then I think it was a further 2 hours in the photo line. My feet hurt so bad after but it was so worth it. I also got my photo with Morena. And then later in the day I had my photo with both of them! To be in the presence of two beautiful ladies, its one of my best memories from a con.

I have some other stuff signed too. I have a poster with River fighting reavers and I had that signed too. And they have these huge posters of each celebrity guest behind them on a wall at their autograph table. I got one of Summer and had it signed by her. It was fairly recently (in November just passed) and I was so happy that she finally made it to Adelaide. She was scheduled to come in 2013 but she had to cancel for personal reasons. I think it was due to her having her lovely daughter Milena. I am still deciding on where to put it up and also I need a frame for it too. My house is like a museum of sorts for collectables lol. I love it!

Morena is the only cast member I haven't met yet. She keeps cancelling her convention appearances.

I think it may be due to her filming schedule for Gotham.

Plus she got pregnant so I'm sure that was another reason. Hopefully she'll start back on the convention circuit soon.
