Got my G man today. HUGE box. I was very impressed with the presentation. Even the styrofoam was paid attention to.

Nicely laid out. I like how the cape and upper armor were placed.

I really like this! The regular head is great. A slightly sinister grin.

The paint isn't perfect, but it's really good in the small detailed areas. The overall sculpting detail is great. I mainly have SSC Marvel 1/4s and no fault to SSC, the character's costumes in the comics aren't that detailed to begin with so they couldn't possibly match this detail. So something this detailed is refreshing. The various textures, the layered armor pieces, just great.

I love how his eyes really stand out from a distance...there's no questioning this is an evil dude!

The Reg looks evil and eerie from far away. But the EX looks maniacal. Both head are great enough that one really isn't better, they can both be switched out from time to time.

It's fun to look at the detailing up close, but this statue commands attention from a distance.

We really need that 1/4 Link now...Ganondorf towers over my other Links (not pictured is Dark Link EX, I didn't feel like getting it out the box). But I'm glad my LoZ statue collection isn't just a bunch of Links now.

But...

It's me, so it was too good to be true. As with several of my statues lately, this came broken. I'm having a bit of a bad streak with statues...This one's broken across the waist.

Structurally it looks like the upper torso had a big square peg that fit into the lower torso, and that peg has broken. Looking in the hole in the upper torso, it seems the mid section is hollow, but the chest and arms are not. My assumption is the boots aren't hollow, but the thighs are, because overall this is a pretty heavy statue. You wouldn't want to lift this up and carry it.

The good thing is I can still put the upper half on the lower half and display it without it looking broken, but it's still broken and not secure. So I'll let F4F know and see about a replacement.

Sorry for so many posts...

I mainly collect Marvel 1/4, so here's a quick comparison. My broke Ganondorf with my broke Spider-Woman (got my replacement letter for her yesterday though! So it will all be fine after while). She's trying to fight him, but Ganondorf just laughs it off!

Finally got my review up of this, definitely one of my favourite statues of the year. Looks like it's not too tough to grab discounted on Ebay so I'd say snatch it up since despite being fantastic, F4F definitely overproduced it.

I love this piece so much. It's top 3 in my collection. I still look at it every day like it's the first day I got it.
