What is odd is that based on coupon codes they send out the HT E7 stuff isn't selling as well as they had hoped. So why overprice this piece. People at this point are making decisions about what to focus on in their collection and this gives people the excuse they need to stick to the OT releases.

Actually they didn't. Finn didn't, Daniel Craig didn't, in fact none of the "normal" troopers had it at all which makes it a bit strange that HT included it with their figure and now Sideshow with this PF. Only some of the special troopers like the Heavy Gunners had the pistol sidearm. The regular troopers actually attached their standard blaster rifles to that hip holster (like when they escort Poe out of the transport or when Finn takes his helmet off.)

This is $200 more than the classic Stormtrooper. There is nothing that anyone can say to justify that.

well, here is where you're mistaken. SS is a business. IF you sold widgets for $5 and people bought them up like crazy, you'd increase to $6, then $7 and so on.

SS has enough dumb *******s paying these prices so why wouldn't they charge it? its good business.

Eventually the bubble will burst. But until then, they are being smart business people.

I don't like it, so I don't support it. but look around, everyone complains then says stuff like, "who am i kidding i need this. ordered!"

weak people are SS's bread and butter. so blame those who support these prices, but don't blame SS.

I am neither dumb nor weak. I choose to spend a portion of my income on something I enjoy. To each their own. Do I wish the price was less? Absolutely. Will it hit a point where the product doesn't justify the cost for me? Absolutely. For now, nothing in my life suffers because of my habit, so I'll just continue to work hard, earn a decent living and support a ridiculous habit that brings back memories of my childhood. Salute!

I like how the pistol is removable, but at the same time makes that feature worthless because you cannot put the pistol in the Trooper's hand.. plus also... why would a Trooper NOT want to have that on their person?

you go boy! but uh, that post wasn't directed at you so I'm not sure why the rocky music started playing in your head. calm down beavis. the OP was complaining on the price so i was addressing people like minded to that sentiment. if you don't mind supporting inflated prices then this comment doesn't apply to you.

Can't make myself pay that much for this. I love the new designs but Sideshow is pricing me out of buying these Star Wars PF's. This is the same price as Darth Vader and Vader has lights and is bigger and is freaking Darth Vader. Storm Troopers should be $370. I'd buy two at that price, but I'm not buying one for $500.

Wanted to start getting star wars Premium Format Figures, but prices keep me out. Would rather get hot toys 1/4 scale figures in stead. Waiting on Vader release and Stormtrooper. Cheaper than ssc pf and more posing options. Oh well.
