Does your system have to be on all the time or can it be in standby mode?
I have had mine in standby mode a couple of times and it seemed to me that the number of frames completed still went up so I don't think it needs to be on all the time.
We are talking PC's here eh.
How do you go to standby mode?
When you turn the power switch on in the back, and you hold the power touch pad thingy down and it turns your system off. If you see the red light it is in standby mode.
so you just stare at virtual molecules for hours on end? is that how this works?
No, you just leave the system on while you aren't playing. There isn't anything to watch.
with all the mainframe and super computers out there, why do they need our little systems?
