I don't know about where they came from, but I could see that. I definitely prefer NECA's work to McFarlane thats for sure. Much less akward poses and they are poseable.

Plus they can also stand without the use of a base.

Damn, if I wasnt sold before I am now!!!!! I must find these!
I just saw this set yesterday at a spencer gifts. I thought the likeness on Connor looked great. The likeness on the Kurgan didn't seem as good but the armor looked great.

NECA has the Highlander license and only did this one 2 pack.
Why didn't they make other figures like Ramirez or anyone else?
If SSC held onto the line they could have mad better 12 inch figures.
It's sad really.

:chew

Wow...talk about a posting raising...at least this has conversation in it.

I believe no one made Ramirez because Connery wouldn't sign off on the likeness rights....

Would love to get my hands on a custom one though.

The set looks sweet. we need more Highlander stuff out there. As well as the rest of the new source trilogy. Maybe we can see Kane from #3. As god awful as it was I still think it would be cool to see Katana from #2, u can't go wrong with Michael Ironside. And for God's sake someone give a Ramirez, and a Methos Firgue too.

Yep, I think the no Ramirez hurt the chances for future releases... also I don't think this was a hot seller. Well made, but I saw them in-stock at Spencers for a long time.

I think if Neca just started selling random characters from its website they would sell because there are Highlander fans out there but it's at a cult following,

I just bought the regular Duncan from sideshow and I wanted a few review pictures to see the figure while I wait for it, I never tought it would be so hard to find it. If someone has any link to a review or to high quality photos of this duncan, please, pm me (or send me an e-mail with pictures, that would be great too).

Thanks.

Sideshow had a Highlander license? Who'd of thought? It is nowhere on their website... not even in their archives... :lol

Yeah, they had it..
I bought their modern day Connor (not the exclusive one though... man that Kurgan head would have been nice)
Connor is one of my favorite figures although I was hoping they would do his Katana like the mononofu sets with a metal blade and all. The plastic blade works but I prefer the metal.
I did some custom Doctor Who stuff a while back and used Connor to Show it off.

Used him for my re-worked Playmates Tricorder (came with Pike) also.
