Well I received my buffy premium format statue that I had finally picked on ebay after 3 years now. Unfortunately it has the missing right eyelash syndrome that is a problem with this statue (the seller told me he checked it and it was fine when he shipped it....) Anyhow I just wanted to get your opinion if I should keep it or return it. I enclosed a close up pic of her face. I might try and find a hobby/doll store to see if I can find a differnt eye lash to replace it. Do you guys think it is noticeable? and would you keep her or try and return her?

Check with a doll store first(and have the seller pay for the replacing eyelash if you can). Remember that you will have to live with this figure for years, so maybe you should send her back (I hope you'll get a full refound) in case you think you won't be completely satisfied. It might be worth waiting a while longer to get the real deal (of course, I've heard the Buffy's often lose their eye-lashes, so maybe it's a lost cause?).

Also, how much she cost matters. In case you got her real cheap, settling for a new eye-lash might be worth it, even if you're not completely satisfied.

Since it's hard to get one of these now I would try to get the lash fixed and see if the seller will work with you. The seller's response would also influence my decision.

I would keep it, but I wouldn't let it be. I would message the guy. If the eyelash was there when he shipped it, then it would be there when you received it. If not attached, then in the box. UPS or whomever he used does not open these, so it wouldn't be removed in the middle some how.

I would price out a place that could fix this, get the quote, send it to him, make him pay.

Hopefully this works for you.

I agree, these are hard to come by so I would probably just keep it.

I'm going to try and find a replacement eye lash. Its so hard to find this statue that I think I could live with the missing eye lash as opposed to missing the statue entirely

Honestly I have the statue and one of the eye lashes fell off I just never bothered putting it back on, no one has ever noticed and I often forget its missing.

We have the statue here. Never noticed it even had eyelashes. I wouldn't worry about it.

hmm, I've got the Alt Buffy PF and the real eyelashes was one of the first things I noticed.
The Leia PF has them too and I really do think it adds that nice extra touch, tho if one was missing it would look a little funny.

When I first got mine I didn't even notice the missing eye lash, my boyfriend was the one who did but I still held onto it because you couldn't see it from far away.

I'm pretty sure that's a different guy, but you bring up a good point though. This just goes to illustrate people how big of an issue the eyelashes were on this piece. It was fairly common from what I've seen and heard.

Eye lashes falling off? Then I best be careful with my baby!

btw Is Buffy the only 1 to have eye lashes? Actually I used to own the original Slave Leia PF and she also came with eye lashes. I wonder how many pieces come with them.

Yeah, I just saw another one on Ebay not too long ago with the same issue.

And I'm not sure about Buffy being the only PFs with lashes. I'm sure there are others, but I'm not sure. I don't think the Elektra PF had them. (Mine is in storage right now.)
