Oh man....

The package I sent to my Secret Santa was suppose to arrive at it's destination yesterday. Instead, it ends up at my doorstep. The issue? Not enough postage was paid. That's what I get for using those automated kiosks that weigh the package and print out the postage.

So, feeling horrible about it, I repackaged the box and I threw in even MORE goodies for my Secret Santa and.... it'll still get there before Christmas because I upgraded that biotch to 2-day shipping! Tracking says it should be there on the 24th. Woo hoo!

That sucks. I can't believe they did that, knowing that people need gifts to arrive by Christmas. They should have made it "postage due" but still sent it. That happened once with something I bought on Ebay. I got the package, postage due. I contacted the seller, showing pictures of the slip and receipt, and they reimbursed me. But at least the package was delivered to me.

Got my Secret Santa gift today. The return address label actually said it came from Santa. BUT I kinda recognized the address. I wasn't 100% positive, but I was fairly certain. I opened it, saw the custom Christmas stocking on top (which contains profanity), and it confirmed my suspicions. THANK YOU SANTA PUNK!!! I didn't open the actual gifts yet (which are individually wrapped). I may open one each day until Christmas. I don't know how many are in there. It's a pretty big box!!!

WTF, sent mine out 2 day shipping as well, but just checked the tracking and it's giving the 27th as expected due date! The person at the post office assured me it would get there by the 24th!


And this part makes no sense at all:

Your item was accepted at 12:01 am on December 22, 2016 in ERIE, PA 16505.

So, my package was somehow accepted in the future? I swear, this better be some glitch, if my secret santa doesn't get his package on time there's gonna be hell to pay at my local post office!

Whoever got me likely sent it to my father-in-law in Phoenix, which I'd mentioned in my initial post to Zod! It actually may have already got there, as he said something arrived yesterday, but I can't be 100% certain! He likely won't send out a package again until January (as he sent out a few earlier this month already) so I probably won't get it if it was sent there until some time in January. But as soon as I do get it, I'll post pictures and such! Just don't want whoever sent it to wonder why I won't make a post about it for a little bit. I mean, you can't beat a bonus gift in January though, so it's even better!

You're welcome. Do you still have the stocking from last time? I put 2016 on this one and added "4-Life". I think there are 4 others not including the stocking, cup, and stormtrooper figure.

I had a package that said it wasn't supposed to arrive until the 23rd or something the first time I checked it on the 15th or so, and in 2 days I checked again and it was already at my post office to be delivered the next day. So they delivered it within 3 days when originally it was 7+ days stated.

I opened a few items so far. I got a Rogue One cup from Carmike Theaters, cuz Punk knows I like food promo items. It's very cool.
I got 3 sets of Star Wars socks (one is meant for babies, but it had Yoda on it, which Punk knows is my favorite character)...
And a Doctor Who related Funko Pop! This one:

Oh yes, I still have the stocking. I can hang them up together. For those who are curious, here's what a previous Christmas Stocking I got from Punk said: "Yoda ****er". This new one says "Yoda ****er 4-Life". The asterisks are not on the stockings, of course. But I think you guys can fill in the missing letters on your own...
