So, I've been at Funko almost 2 weeks. It's a really cool place to work. My head is still reeling at all the new info I have to pick up. I've seen some stuff coming that has really got me excited... obviously can't talk about it now. But when it's announced I can chat about it. Things happen so fast, I'm not even sure what is going to be announced at SDCC.

Went to California to see family. Went to anime expo, way too crowded for me now. Triggered some bad anxiety. Ended up worn out all week from one day. Still semi-sick and dealing with stuff from the trip, two weeks later. Did enjoy the Museum of Death though. Going back on medication for mental stuff soon, physical health is deteriorating as always. Still not moving up on the transplant list :/

Ahoy again all! Man, work has been crazy...life just doesn't want me to relax lately Either way, couldn't help but see a lot of pictures being posted from SDCC! Lots of awesome things, but money and space is pulling me out of statues more or less. I've got the Wolf LSB on the way some time at the end of this year, but not sure if I'll get any more after that.
Hot Toys, on the other hand, are really hitting an awesome stride! So many great Star Wars and comic book movie pieces coming from them...and so many on deck. They take up less space, and cost less, which is great...but man, just like everything, I need to learn how to say "That's cool...but do I REALLY need it?" I'm sure we've all been in that position where we get caught up in the hype and by the time it comes out, we're a little less attached. That's how I've snapped out of a number of statue desires...that and the ridiculous shipping/customs/exchange fees that keep going up!
So I'm basically looking at all the Hot Toys at SDCC. The Prime 1 Catwoman is one I was waiting for...I don't LOVE it as much as I thought I instantly would. She looks great, but I'd like to see more poses and sculpts to get a better overall idea. Even then, not sure...about $1500 for those when all is said and done, give or take. The Red Sonja looks great too, but I've got the last one, which is just perfect, so I'm all good there!
Anything else jumping out at anyone at the moment? I swear, Hot Toys doesn't want me to retire.
