Boba Ben's Creative Writing Contest

Okay. I'm holding a contest. I'll leave it open over the weekend so everybody should hopefully be able to participate if they want to. The winner will get a 12" vinyl Godzilla 1989 figure by X-Plus from my personal collection.

I love short horror stories, but I don't have a ton of time right now. That's where you come in. Quote this post and respond with your best one to two sentence short horror story. The one that I find the creepiest and most bone chilling wins. One entry per person, please.

I think my first one will be in chat, once I have the prototype imaged so I can show it.

Chat is open...I signed in last week so I could make sure one of us Freaks was the room admin. Just not many people have shown up yet, as no one has put a reason out there.

Chatted with Grizz on it a little this morning.

If you tell folks that is where the contest will be, I'm sure more will show up and we can get the ball rolling.

Really hard getting involved with contests from over the pond.
Receiving or giving prizes via mail is impractical.

I might do something for a $25 PayPal Gift later if anyone is interested

I know, it's really hard to keep up and the times I do get online it always seems be quiet in here.

Oh, and feel free to remove the Godzilla pic from my original post, so people don't have to scroll so much when they're going through the Spook thread. Thanks!

Keeping the pic would make it easier for you to spot the entries though.

There was a time when I was so exited to get a statue from Sideshow. The anticipation was palpable. This shady, unkept van pulled up outside. The doorbell rang. I grabbed the package and scurried upstairs. I tear open the box and...and....the horror. My God the horror. The body was twisted and misshapen. It looked like it had been tortured and held underwater due to the fluid oozing out. This image will haunt me for years. What was in the box you may ask.....it was my Apocalypse EX.
