Re: Spooktacular 2014

I did the same. Forgot the actor and the movie. I emailed a second time but I'm probably disqualified lol

Hey Jo!

Hi guys!

I really want to win the pinhead contest on the site. You know in all my years doing this I've never won anything off the site or newsletter contests...nada, zip, zilch. I've only won at Spook and SDCC.

Pinheasd yesss! :rock

I figured. I never win SS contests--doesn't matter how fast I type or how creative I get. I do see some of the same people win over and over though. It'd be nice to win one at some point.

Me too! :monkey2

Re: Spooktacular 2014

she just told me I was DQ'd lol. Darn, probably giving away a Rocket and Groot 2 pack I bet!

Re: Spooktacular 2014

I happened to be looking at it the second it came in so I bet I was super fast, just ****ed up like an idiot. Chicky's contests are stressful!

Re: Spooktacular 2014

We have a winner for the first question! Golden_Boy has gained entry into the final round!

OK.... onto the second question....

CONTEST QUESTION 2

After I began collecting again in 2012, starting with some final fantasy figures, I mostly focused on rebuying older smaller toys I had since lost/sold - my old Voltron, the original TMNT line, some Spawn figures, etc. It did not take long for me to find out about the higher end collectibles. I lusted after Hot Toys soon as my friend told me about them, but at that time I thought spending more than like $50 on a toy was absolutely insane (if only I still felt that way!). But then there was one figure that just caught my eye and I couldn't stop looking at it. It hadn't released yet and I got suckered into sideshow's flex pay option and, after a few delays, I got my first Hot Toy in the mail about 9 months after placing my order. I was so nervous opening it and handling it. I scolded my poor fiance for daring to touch it. I broke a piece, freaked out, wrote to sideshow and got it replaced. No matter how many times I rearrange my shelves, it's always at the centerpiece of whatever display I make. Just an awesome, awesome toy.

What is that toy?

Hint #1: It is the only collectible of that character I own

Loki!
