For pop collectors out there.. Hot Topic is going to have a Black Lantern Flash exclusive soon. I just finished my Arkham set finally, my Big Hero 6, and next up is... I don't know ._.

Anyways, may be on the liver transplant list now, liver got that tiny bit worse it needed to. Can't get more radiation for the cancer, liver is in too bad of shape.

How do you...select someone? Names in a hat?

I'll volunteer to do that part, since I won't be putting my name in.

Whoever is organizing this, send me the list of names when ready, and I'll set up a random draw to assign folks.

I will ensure that there is no reciprocal pairing, so at least 3 will be involved in any given exchange.

I haven't done a secret santa on this forum but there are a couple ways we could do it.

EASY WAY: Just send the person you get something random--Secret Santa's choice
LITTLE MORE WORK WAY: Have everyone make a short list with a couple choices for gift(s) for the Secret Santa to choose from within a certain budget (like no more than $20 or something like that)
LITTLE BIT OF THIS-LITTLE BIT OF THAT: Give Secret Santas the option of picking from the person's list or just going random.

I think this could be fun! I don't want people to think they have to spend a lot to participate or have to get something specific for someone. Everyone's got different priorities and financial levels this time of year so this shouldn't be something to stress about.

I could help organize it if Kamikaze would do the assigning of Secret Santas. I'll keep a list together and if we want to give each other choices for gifts I'll keep track of that as well. I can send the information for each person's Secret Santa when we get names drawn.

It would also be cool if we could get everything to everyone before Christmas then post what we got on here starting the 25th.

Aw man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully you get a quick transplant or your liver finds a way to bounce back enough to get out of transplant status.

Edit: Also you'd probably have to keep note on addresses so it can be a surprise, unless secret santas and whom they receive can just their address. Whatever people feel comfortable.

Easy way is best, it has the though and that's the best part IMO. I wasn't gonna go overboard and spend a ton, I'd be spending around that 20-30 price margin. I definitely think it'll be fun and to get it for the 25th.

Put me down for the secret santa. I think a $20 limit is great if international ppl are involved since shipping can get a little pricey for people. If it's all continental... I'd be OK for $30.

Freaktacular Secret Santa 2014​

Let’s get this going! I don’t want this to be stressful for anyone—there’s already a lot going on for people this time of year—but there need to be some ground rules.

If you say you’re going to participate THEN PARTICIPATE. If anyone gets a gift and doesn’t send one then I’m personally banning them from any contests I hold here. I’ll also announce it in the Freaktacular thread so everyone knows you didn’t reciprocate.

Gift value of around $20. If you want to surprise someone with more then that’s your prerogative—I’m sure the lucky person won't complain.

Send your gift so it will be received before Christmas, and we can all post what we got starting Christmas day.

Send me a PM with:

1. Your name and shipping address.

2. State whether or not you will send a gift overseas (one way to avoid overseas shipping costs may be to buy something directly from that country’s Amazon website and have it ship from there).

3. Include an license/character of interest just to give your Secret Santa an idea of what you like--this doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed anything related to it but for those that want the information they’ll have it.

When I get a PM, I’ll add your name to the list and keep it updated in the Freaktacular thread.


Let me know you want to participate by Wednesday, 12/3/2014. You’ll get paired up and information sent to you before the weekend. Gifts will probably need to be sent by around 12/15-12/17 at the latest to make sure they get there by Christmas.
