Re: Freaktacular 2015

I'm not a big fan of the social media either. I don't bother entering Sideshow contests on Face, Twitter, and Instagram (I think those are the 3). :lol

I guess I belong in this club:

Re: Freaktacular 2015

They started doing YouTube and freaking Pinterest as well.

That's right, they're doing Instagram and pinterest too! I can't keep up.

That actually confuses me. I thought when I got started with Spook bunches of years ago that it was a clever way to increase traffic to their site. Now it pretty takes place nowhere near their website. Part of the reason I got really involved with SSC (besides their awesome figures and statues) was how much fun I had on their site during Spooktaculars of yesteryear. I wonder how many new customers they get from it this way?

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I loved searching the site for clues and deals. Now I get annoyed with all the notifications on social media blowing up my phone to the point that I end up turning them off. Plus the ass-kissing that goes on is ridiculous. I want to win a figure or statue at some point but there's a limit on what it's worth to me.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

Yeah, I enjoyed going into their website, clicking something, and being surprised with, "You found a promo code!"
I'm going to miss that. :(

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I thought they did some of the find codes stuff last year? Wasn't there one or two of those? Maybe I am getting it mixed up with prior years...

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I'm pretty happy nabbing $20 so far! That's like $1,400 Canadian right now. :lol

Re: Freaktacular 2015

YC9Q13 If any wants to try and see if you can use it more then once. I would like to know if it will work.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

:lol I wonder how many they will do.

My guess is they'll do a couple a day...I don't think they'll all be $10 though. The thing is, giving reward points causes a surge in purchases, so it's a win win for Sideshow and those who get rewards points! Even if you snag $40 or so, that may cause you to pick up a $250 piece you otherwise would've debated or passed on. I'd love to hit $50! Get rid of shipping costs completely on a statue! :)

RULES UPDATED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TRICK'R TREAT ALREADY!

anmI8Lf.jpg

Time for a contest!!

This one will last until I get home from work tonight, so there's a good chunk of time to participate! I tend to get home around 2am EST, but it could be 3am EST...it'll be one of those two!

The contest is figuring out my top ten movies of all time! You can post your guesses here, and the one who gets the most correct wins! Ties will be decided somehow. :lol

The winner Trick'r Treat on DVD or Blu-ray! Participants will have to have held a contest already for Spook on this board, and/or have a sig/avatar from Veil in use! If you already have Trick'r Treat, then just let me know when you post your guess and I'll send you another one of my favourite recent horror movies!

Oh, and I count all Star Wars films as one saga/movie...so there's that! :lol

Good luck and happy guessing! :lol
