I was actually in the middle of one when a comment was made about being 6 days from October. I kinda panicked. I may not get done with the avatars by Oct 1, but hopefully I will start putting up signatures (except for the people without their new avatars)

Sad day today. Some of you may know of my puppy Buttercup. Sadly we had to put her to sleep today. We had a good 10 years with her. She will be missed.

RIP Buttercup.

punkg42, they become a family member just like anyone else in your immediate kin. It's hard for others to understand this unless they've had a pet that made a significant impact on their life.
Try not to dwell on this difficult time. Instead, remember all the times Buttercup made you laugh. Keep the good times you shared together in your memory. Those will last forever.

I'm good with it as she was on the decline in health and recently went blind. 10 years is a long time for a bulldog.
