The lip in that WIP shot simply "looks" fuller in that camera angle/lighting compare to the pic. Who knows how it's gonna look like after more work has been done and painted? Only the up coming promo shot will tell. Hopefully the chin guard is tweaked also, cause in that WIP shot, it's....too much.

The facial expression on the bust looks like its the expression from the scene where RoboCop is at the gas station about arrest Emil, one of the guys that shot him when he was just Murphy.

And Emil said, "you're dead, we killed you !" and Robocop was just in that confused stage.

A neutral/stern look is all this "bust" needed. No "weird thinking" look. I prefer the look in the pic Bezzerkerr that just posted.

I'm not gonna lie...def getting a little impatient, especially because these bust are supposed to be shipped April-ish

Fred is the real deal and has a pretty good reputation.

That said, you are a total rookie if you think this piece isn't going to be delayed at least a few months. I think you'll be lucky to get it in June, let alone April.

That's the way these things work. All sorts of shenanigans are going on we'll never be privy too with various quality control issues and last minute setbacks, etc, etc.

This happens again and again and again.

Which I'm sure makes all of you who put down your down payment in cash, check, or money order (none of which can be refunded or charged back) feel REAL GOOD.

Again, Fred Barton is an established name in the collectibles world but after about 10 years of experience in collecting garage kits and prepaints I've learned one thing:

1. With few exceptions, if you pay out money for product that is not ready RIGHT NOW to ship, emotionally be prepared that you are setting that money on fire.

Obviously I'm PLEASANTLY surprised if things come through and after a few months to sometimes a year they DO come through. But I never expect them to. If you do that, you'll be calling your lawyer in about 2 months or so.

Sometimes you have to take a gamble and be patient for a collectible that's truly worth it and then keep your fingers crossed you don't get screwed.

You win some, you'll lose some.

The Robocop stuff looks amazing. But currently I'm not big enough of a fan to take that gamble.

Good luck to the rest of you that did but again . . . don't expect this thing to ship April.

very true..........theres always delays when it comes to high quality customs. The only thing that pisses me off is when artists stop communicating. Besides the quality of an item being produced, if the artist has piss poor communication, they will lose my business and i will never reccommend them to anyone. Thats why I almost always use the CC when I buy from an artist I have never dealt with before, so if they dont come through, paypal prolly won't help, but you can do the charge back on the CC.

Since Fred has such a good reputation, but I'm not worried about my money. And if it's going to take a little longer for perfection, the wait is worth it. I'm in no rush.

I'm hopeful we're getting this in late April but who knows you may be right. No need to be a Negative-Nancy. "You win some, you lose some" this isn't basketball, we're talkin' collectibles.

Great ED-2009 .gif bezzerker... so many uses :lecture

That intro to Ed-209 scene, is one of my very favorite scenes of all time.

"Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply.

...JAGUAR growl...

You now have 15 seconds to comply.

You are in direct violation of Penal Code 1.13, Section 9.

You have 5 seconds to comply.

Four... three... two... one... I am now authorized to use physical force!"

The UNRATED version is highly reccomemded for a couple more seconds of intense gore!!!

Love the unrated version. Just don't like that the sound wasn't fully matched up to the bullet fire. There are a couple of quick scenes where ED is firing, but there are no bullet sounds on the audio track.

And yes, an awesome scene. Especially at the end when D_ick Jones says it's probaby just a glitch. :lol

Good eye...most wouldn't notice that.

I love the Ed-209 scene because it takes the movie from 0-60 in NO TIME.

Have to agree... that scene leaves no confusion about what you are about to see :rock :rock

Robocop is definitely in my top 10; I recognize it isn't high art, but damn is it an awesome movie :rock :rock :rock

Agreed that it isn't high art, but it's a lot deeper than one would think. The script is oozing with social commentary on capitalism.
