Has been on the waiting list until I got an email last week that it is now under way. Looking forward to unpack it here on Thursday :)

im still thinking about getting this diorama but is it in scale with
my jason part 7 scream scene dio? it sure does look amazing
i would get the ex

This came out really nice! Wish Sideshow would do some more modern horror PFs, but this is a great piece.

Thought I would get the last Thursday, but it has long been underway in France (of one or another reason). And now is it finally arrived in Denmark, so hopefully tomorrow I get it :)

It is hard to wait ;)

If you're a Freddy fan, this is a must have in my opinion. Reasonable price, cool pose and concept, quality paint apps, nice switch out head, this one is a winner all round in my books.

As for the scale, I'd say it's roughly around 1:5. And yes, the claws are plastic, but it's hard plastic (no danger of warping or 'droop damage' here) and pretty well painted to help sell the metal finger knife look, so they don't look cheap. Of course they do lack the shine of metal, but I can't say it bothers me at all personally.

Not sure if I mentioned but my replacement arrived (I got sent a reg instead of an EX) and that also had a blade missing from Freddy's lil finger, luckily this one was in the box and I glued it back in place with no visible signs.

Anybody else had a problem like this? Could I really be that unlucky that it happened to both of mine?:banghead

On the upside I now have 2 and I display them either side of the shelf, one hatted and one without.

Looks good!:chew

PS.
Gotta say a big thanks to SS for letting me keep the one they sent out in error.

I'm a huge Freddy fan, and very tempted to get this guy. But I just don't have a lot of love for statues, not to mention I had flaky paint on my last two Sideshow pieces. I vowed to stay in the 1/6 scale realm forevermore. But damn he is tempting. What are the odds of the waitlist converting on the EX?

Here's some pics of the repaint I did of my Freddy Diorama. It started out with just the skull as I thought it was too dark and brown.

Then I dirtied up the sweater and the hat and finally applied matlack to the hat, sweater and pants for a less "shinier" look. It didn't make the pants look less than leather, but at least they didn't look like newly bought leatherpants.

Now I didn't get the exclusive (Freddy must always wear the hat IMO), but I did manage to make it quite unique.

When Robert Englund is in the neighborhood, you might as well take the trip to Sweden to get him to sign your collectible.

THAT IS SOOOO AWESOME. Thanks for sharing. Those pics of him sigining it (to me) are just as valuable as the signature...Proof of Authenticity.

Did Robert have anything to say about the dio?

Nice job on the repaint, BTW, you got a nice bone/skull color there

Hey Guys, I picked this piece up on ebay last night for $155 (plus shipping) - regular edition. I find it hilarious that people that are pimping the exclusive on ebay want almost double the RRP... for an extra head... seems crazy to me, especially when it was only released in February. Anyways, I just wanted to thank all the people who posted photos on here of their Freddys, it really helped me make my decision and I can't wait for the mail man to deliver!!!

It's definitely a cool piece. The only thing I don't like is the open back to the skull, I think closed would have been better. BTW, I got to meet Robert Englund last year - one of the coolest, most down to earth guys you could imagine. But expect to wait in line a while!!:lol
