i just noticed, but are freddy and jason both wearing the same shoes?? lol

They do look very similar, and are probably the same type of shoe, but if you look closely at the soles of the shoes, Freddy's tread is closer together and it's thicker.

Wow. Big NOES fan...have the first PF....and I really hate this thing. Skinny, awkwardly posed....hidden glove, random doll....dunno. Seems like crap to me.

I actually like the likeness better on the first too....

But, just my opinion. I can think of worse ways to spend money than on Freddy statues.

Taking a second look I actually prefer the gloves hanging by the side. Afterall there is a bend at the elbow and the fingers or blades are spread apart in a really creepy manner. And how he holds the doll by the hair is chilling

The arm mod on photoshop looks a lot better!
What do you think about trying to put a bit of bulk on his stomach area to make it kind of in line with his chest, and maybe doing something to his chicken legs

Do you know what you just said there? The marionette part, I mean. That would've been really neat to see. I think if the hand holding the doll had been at his side, and the gloved hand reaching outwards....I probably would cave and buy it. Right now it looks like he's getting ready to whoop his collie for chewing up his favorite doll baby. Kidding. I like the thing alot, but the arms are killing it for me. If I didnt have the FvsJ version---I would get this. But I do. So i wont.

Yeah, I mean that just goes to show the lack of creativity with the skull. The marionette would have at least made senese.

I do like this piece but feel the price is a little high. I know $350 is the new $275, but ouch. It's going to be rough. Hopefully the skull hand is magnetic otherwise I'll just probably get this through my local comic shop.

Btw, anybody think the gloved hand may be bendible? I know previous PF's had that feature. Makes me wonder.

I think we'd have gotten a pic or two in a different pose if that was the case. Why they want to articulate R2 and 3PO and not other PFs is beyond me.

The old Van helsing style PF would suit this.. he had bendable arms. Actually come to think of it, that Van helsing PF was very detailed being one of sideshows first releases. From the boots/shoe laces to the real hair to bendable arms. Underated PF imo. If only he wasnt missing his belt and the hat didnt look backwards. I always had an issue with that, i swear they assembled the brim back to front...
