There is no contradiciton. Once they go up for preorder, they don't change. No matter how newbs whine about how they thinks somethig should be.

They've changed colors or somethings but for the most part what you see is what you get, or worse. . . .

The best thing about that picture is that it says part 3 proto, but if anything it should be labelled part 4 because of the darker skin and the bloody axe wound to his head.

I think you're kidding because of the smiley , but I know for a fact that they make all sorts of changes and additions, mostly because they themselves feel something could be better, but more often than you'd think also in response to forum comments. They've done repaints, resculpts, added lighting feature, added accessories, alternate heads, alternate bases, etc.

However, the comments they don't pay any attention to are the ones like "Sideshow sucks" and "Epic Fail".

Happily, this thread seems to have Sideshow's back on this piece big time.

Thats pretty much true. They do sometimes make changes besides paints if they are easy tweaks. On Andy B.'s Dracula (Bela Lugosi), I made a comment about Lugosi not having a widow's peak in his hair until White Zombie....and the widow's peak disappeared from the final piece that shipped. I know Andy used to come to these forums. But the Jason needs no tweaking. Its fine as is. So say we all (well...most of us anyway)

If you think they're going to stretch out the holes on the mouth 1mm to hush the only people who have issues aka OCD collectors and NECAmpoops, you need to have your head examined. And really, other than that, which is plucking taint hairs, he's aces.

This is the 100% truth. I was surprised by them one time and that is when they added the camo head to the Firefly figure. There's no need to change this piece. It's one of the most well received SS pieces I have seen.

SilentSurfer, I really want to believe what your saying. But then tell me, what happened to the Rambo PF?

That stirred up all sorts of criticism. Now I acknowledge that much of it was rude comments, but there was also allot of thought out suggestions and concerns that were addressed in the forum. Why would they not make any adjustments on the final piece after such a backlash from the collecting community?

It kills me to see the EX. still IN STOCK, especially since it is limited to 200. What a shame for a piece that I feel was destined for greatness.

For the record, I don't even acknowledge the criticisms of the Jason PF. This ones a beauty.

just wondering why my PF Jason ex. shows a shipping soon on my order page at Sideshow? I thought these weren't going to be in until second quarter of 2011. Anyone else have this on their order page at sideshow?
