Dated? Not at all, if anything the detail holds up better than the stuff SS puts out now. Its very nice.

I agree. The FVJ PFs are still top notch. And I'm not just saying that because I'm selling a set.

Only time will tell. I think the ES will be smaller or equal to the Leatherface one due to the economy and fewer preorders. Next, this is the iconic Jason, whereas I know I would want Leatherface more if he had the costume from the beginning of the movie--which I consider to be more iconic. So I think in a couple years, this will still be the Jason to get, while there's always a (extremely slim) chance that they could remake Leatherface with the other costume.

How much are the Leatherface PF going for now a days?

The Leatherface PF range anywhere between the low $400's for the regular and the mid $500's for the exclusive. At least that's how much they were when I was searching for one a few months ago.

Agreed, If sideshow made the PF of Leatherfaces costume at the beginning of the movie it would of been a keeper. But the thing is every other figurine company out there made all there leatherfaces in that costume. I thought it was great that sideshow changed it up and made a PF with the end costume. That is what makes that leatherface so sort after and thats why i have 2 in my collection. BUT def this Jason will be just as sort after I rate, I def wil order the exclusive no doubt in my mind. I hope they have a low edition size just like Leatherface of 300.

Yea that is about the price I saw them for as well, the problem for me is finding one when I have the extra money. Although the next few months I have virtually nothing coming except Leo and ToD PF so I might be able to swing it.

Yup I manage to get to bec the very first one i had the chainsaw m paint was damage and so was the base. It was from a shop in Europe so i couldn't send it back. But then I found a mint in box one and its staying like that. So when I am like 45 i can still have a new one to display .

I rate the exclusive will prob come either with artwork (seems like a fav with sideshow lately) or it will come with a switch out axe or machete, judging by the photos on the friday the 13th event ( image ). Either way it will def be a must have.

Same just checked now. Man I cant wait for this guy. I wonder if its the same sculpt as the One they had on there auction or if its a whole new sculpt and base?

It very much looks like it could be the same but they prob have given it a new base and changed the detail slightly. I wonder who picked this guy up on the auction??

I'm hoping they make other horror PF's. They've made so many Jason's...and like a good little horror collector I am, I have all of them...now when people look at my collection....they think I'm a big Jason Voorhees fan (which I'm not!)

Uh.... they've only made one Jason PF, FvJ, and that left much to be desired.

Ok edit...I have all the 1/6th scale from Sideshow too. FVJ as in the Scream Scene Diorama? One of the hardest pieces I had to find! Took me months and months but I found one from a boardie here who sold me his...I think I just hounded him to near death and he finally sold it to me to get me off his back.
