Jason is absolutely, without a doubt, the very best, most wicked, amazing looking, superior Sideshow Premium Format Figure in my entire collection, in my honest opinion...

... but I only own one PF right now, so...

But if I had the exclusive I would feel compelled to display him that way, so I'm very happy I have the regular. As you mentioned, the masked ax wielding Jason is Jason incarnate for me. Great imposing piece! He's big enough to throw down with my Aliens maquette and I'm interested to see him next to the upcoming Alien maquette.

This one is. While I did own one other this year, Jason is the only one staying in the collection. And he is the only PF in the entire collection for the time being, at least until more Horror comes along.

Just got word from the dealer that my Jason regular should ship today!

Literally seconds after placing an order for what looks like the last Vampirella exclusive PF. Good Sideshow day. I hope I have Jason tomorrow morning...

Don't let the peer preasure get to you. If you are even thinking of selling then you probably should. I sold mine and have not even thought twice abut it.

I know people love this PF but IMO it is one of the most overrated pieces ever. It's so boring and stiff. I know that some of that is just what Jason is but I just don't feel this piece at all. I wanted to love it but I did not feel that it captured the spirit of Jason.

Now I am not saying my opinion is the right one. I know that I am on the minority. I just feel that this piece feels more like something SS would have produced 5 years ago and is not up to the quality that they are making today.

Please understand I am not saying that those of you who love it should not love it. I am happy for those who do. I just don't see it. One of the few times I have not agreed with the most of the people here on the board about a piece I was interested in.

So back to my original point. If you don't love it (you are thinking of selling and it's not even a year old so I assume you don't) then sell baby, Sell!!!

I love how simple this statue is. There are very few parts to him and they're all very beefy. He's the most solid looking/feeling PF I have. I really feel like less is more with this piece.

Yeah I think that those who love him love him for that very reason.

I like the part 3 Jason best in the films but i think I would have liked a beat up bloody part 4 Jason better as a pf.

The Final Chapter is my favorite of the series. It's the last movie to show actual penetration during the murders, instead of just a scream and then cutting to the next scene. If SS does a part 4 I'll probably buy it. But I think the clean look of the part 3 mask is very classic and realistic for the PF.

I dont LOVE the Friday the 13th films, or really anything "slashery" per se unless its well done. But I would have to be behind on my mortgage or something serious like that before I would sell my Jason.

I really only watch Friday the 13th when we're playing a drinkiing game I came up with. We call it the Jason Game. We take a shot for each murder. The flow of the movies actually works out very well, with 2 or 3 murders in the very beginning, then a lull, then they start up again. You get really trashed, but it's a great interactive way to watch the Friday the 13th movies. We even came up with some rules, such as, you have to see the murder happen to drink, if not, you only drink once they show the body. Just thought I'd share.

But I've been finding myself revisiting movies here lately without the expectations I had when they were released, and really liking them. Thanks for the Jason X reminder because we've played the game with every other movie I think.

The smashing of the girl's frozen face is one of the coolest Jason killings imho.
