As one of the 33rd level grand wizards of the Elite I can honestly say this is SS's best ever PF. Nothing but pure awesome from head to toe.

So much pure elite:monkey2

Well, I may not be a Grand Wizard, or an Elite, but I definitely agree with you that this piece is awesome from head to toe.

I can't keep myself from looking at the pics and I know he'll look "killer" in person!

I just submitted a question to Sideshow about this, but how would you guys feel if they offered a seperate, alternate base for this? He is currently on a wooden cabin-like base, which is of course appropriate to Camp Crystal Lake. But even in some of the photos they have him out in the forest. A seperate forest base, similar to how the Bride of Frankenstein and Monster had a seperate base offered that allowed them to be posed together, would be a great way to give us even more options. Perhaps even include additonal hands and/or headsculpts? Such as the hacked up mask from the end of the film/part 4? I know I'd love an 'expansion' set to this. What say you?

Expension set ? This aint an action Figure, Butts...Think more Elite please.

...I dont get all the hate towards the unmasked head...if you dont know who that is then your not that big of a fan of Jason as you may think you are. That maskless face is freaking epic, I know i'll be displaying him both ways, but for sure for me the unmasked face will be getting plenty of display time. This piece is epic and for those that got this piece congrats.

The unmasked head is of great quality, and the funny thing is it is near identical to the pic in your sig.

Sad eyes and all.

I actually think it would be cool if SS did extra bases for PF's like they did for the 1:6th figs. It would be cool to see them come out with an extra base for a PF you already have. You know what I mean?

It would add a lot more display options for our pieces. I don't think they'll do it though...:(

I kinda like Buttmunch's idea. 1/4 environments might be pretty cool. Most PFs are designed with their bases in mind like Gandalf walking down steps in Moria, but for something like Jason just standing level, that could be great, especially if you are getting multiples of a certain piece. I've got one Ex and a regular on order for this one. I'm thinking of planting an axe in one of the heads.

I had to wrap up a bunch of stuff for the mail for the holidays and popped F13 Pt.3 in the dvd player a couple of times. I hate to break it to the guys talking negatively about body stance of the pf with regards to the hands with the machete looking kind of "wonky".

There is a scene in the barn towards the film's end where Jason is standing almost identically to the pfs hand gestures and stance. The artists who sculpt these things are obviously fans also. The artist who did this (anyone know who the sculptor is?) obviously has viewed the film more than once to catch this. Excellently done.:clap

I know exactly which scene your talking about. If im not mistaken he raises it over his head and comes down and the machete gets stuck in
the boarded up barn door. I just remember that pose when hes coming at the camera and I seem to remember it being that pose.

That is my thought exactly too. His pose is so vanilla that they could give him any number of alternate bases: Forest, dock, etc. They could probably even throw in extra hands/weapons or even severed heads and arms too.

Even Sideshow's pics show him in the forest. The teaser was even him in the forest. So I was actually surprised he had a wooden floor base instead of forest. I actually think of Jason stalking through the forest more than being in buildings. :dunno

also in the upstairs loft scene before she tosses him out the window. check out body posture and hand placement.:hi5:

I don't see Sideshow ever offering 1/4 environment pieces, but if I had the room to build an environment around this PF, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

True, but I mean Jason in general. I think of Michael Myers as more of an indoor killer and Jason more of an outdoor killer. If that makes any sense :lol

Oh yeah for sure. I just think they were trying to make the stand more relevant to the movie. I still can't get over how amazing this gem turned out.

I sure hope the next 7+ months FLY by! :impatient:
