I'm new to this forum but with the release of one of my all time favorite characters in PF I felt it was as good a time as any to chime in.

First off, let me say that I'm on order for both the Exclusive as well as the Regular version of this PF and am absolutely ecstatic to be getting this piece - it is a dream-come-true for me. But with that said here is something I hope will change between now and the final product release in the 2nd quarter . . .

the vertical holes at the mouth are pretty badly placed. The sculptor may have had a David Miller hockey mask in his possession when he made the hock for this piece as DM's hocks have this exact same inherent flaw. The right side of the picture is the more accurate improvement I'd like to see. Other than that . . this piece ROCKS!

Some may see this as nitpicking but when you think about it this improvement really is vital to Jason's overall look of the head and when dealing with any figure (illustration or figure or otherwise) the head is one of the most important aspects and usually the first place you look (female figures not withstanding).

Here's hoping the sculptor (and/or Sideshow) is keeping their eye on this thread and they make this small but significant change.

Go back to the Spawn.com boards please. You can do whatever you want over there but posting this ____ here, it makes me think that if you broke wind, it would be such a high-pitched squeeling frequency, every dog for a mile would be deaf.

Personally I never understood giving two cruds what people at another forum that I don't post at think. I think we here at sideshow freaks are Reps of this site. If we find a need to defend something then we should make intelligent arguments and not act like trolls. I read through the post and did not think it the statue was being hated on that much. There were a couple complaining a tad too much but thats what all these pieces go through. There were some that were very excited about this piece.

Is the new Jason PF perfect?? Lets be honest. No. If you put up a photo of the movie right next to the PF there would be all sorts of small issues. But thats the way pretty much all statues are. The question is, how bad are the issues and can you live with them. I love my Raiders Indiana Jones but there are some problems with the sculpt and clothing. But none of it is enough to keep me from owning a great statue of one of my fav. characters. Personally I think there has been on perfect sculpt and thats of Arnold as Conan. The face and body are perfect. However I could even nit pick and say that he needs a more intence look on his face. He is also not true 1/4 scale. But again i lov e it.

I keep comining back to this thread because I am on the fence. I don't hate the statue as a whole. I was not in love with the EX but find the reg edition tempting because thats how I would display it. If i owned the Ex I would be tempted to flip and thats not why i buy these things.

Anyways I guess I am saying that all of this stuff is about opinions. Why do we care what some guys over at another forum think? I think that us freaks are better then that.

Take the blinders off. I despise people who bash something just because they can't afford it. If you've been following what's going on over there, you'd see that is exactly what's happening. There's a blatant bias there that allows those who buy cheap kiddie garbage to trash just about every high-end piece because they can't buy it with the $20 mommy gives them every week, while muting and condemning the posts from the people who actually collect this stuff.

Hey even I will admit that if i was a big enough Jason fan to be a member of a Ft13th forum and collected all things jason. I would have be sporting a huge one for this piece. This is by far the best mass produced Jason piece out there. Small issues and all. If I was a jason maniac like those over there claim to be I woould be selling some of my 12" dolls and 4" action figures to be getting this statue.

In fact if it was not for space issues i would have picked up the EX. I just don't love it enough. I have a Hulk com and and JAWS "Bruce NTT" on the way. Both are massive. And with a T1 PF soon to come out I have got to make some tuff choices.

...and that's the deal breaker for some? Havent they heard of a dremel tool? If its that horrifying to them, just widen the holes to meet their discerning eyes. I'm a 40+ year old working stiff, and still got 20/20. I couldnt even tell the difference.

Yeah, the photoshopped pic on the top right is more accurate. I have probably seen F13 III at least 30 times in my life and I would have never known/noticed that the holes were inaccurate on the Sideshow PF mask. So all I can say is "meh"...If that's a deal breaker for someone I can not see how or why you would collect anything that is not a film used prop, cause you will never get 100% accuracy.

The screen cap above also shows that the head on the PF is clearly tilted the wrong way.

EVERY single piece has a flaw or flaws, including the mighty Hot Toys. What looks identical to the movie character? I can't think of anything in life thats perfect, let alone collectibles. I can only imagine the constant over at Sideshow right now. They finally give us THE horror icon in PF, LOAD it up to the nuts and sell it for $50 less than the T2 T-800 Arnie.
