I was looking at Frodo- is it true that there is no exclusive edition of him being made?

Actually, there was a secret limited Frodo exclusive. The first 50 people to order him received a variant with a light up Sting sword.

Not really!! At this point, there is no exclusive Frodo. Don't worry, you didn't miss anything.

you had me for a moment! I thought- "here I go on ebay again..."

The natives will be heading to Sideshow headquarters with torches and pitchforks...

Why? It's just a variant like the Luke Exclusive last year.

Because it would make a sculpt that was lukewarmly received a must-buy by adding the mithril vest or something akin to that. :google

Well, thems the breaks I guess. It's amazing what all of a sudden makes something a must have. If someone doesn't like Frodo all of a sudden Sting lighting up or a Mithril Vest shouldnt change that. Of course this is all in my humble opinion.:peace

I think that people would be mad because Frodo is a fourth quarter release. If they release a special version at SDCC in July and make everybody else wait another four or five months to get the normal one, folks will be upset.

I understand that people would be upset if they had to wait but I just don't see that being such a big deal.

I for one am glad that there's a release without an exclusive.
'Exclusive' just isn't what it was: almost every release gets an exclusive. Some are great, but some are...well, not that great. Great marketing tool though ;)!

I Hope not...seriously unfair for anyone not living in continental US...because they are the only ones who could possibly attend.

Lifes not fair. There would be some made avaialble to those living outside the US and that can't go just like with any other exclusive.

It's good to live in the USA! Especially if you can afford to fly to California...pay for a hotel...rental car...tickets to the show...and the exclusives. Maybe it isn't so great.

With as much as it costs to go to SDCC. It's balances it out. I'd go even if there where no exclusives because I want to see everything SS included of course but exclusives really add to the experience.
