...and the mouse?

I'm afraid the last time I checked on him, at about 4:30 PM, he had still not moved from his current location or position. The prognosis is not good... especially since the freezing rain and sleet started up again around 6 PM. I will check on him in the morning (if I make it into the office) and let everyone know how he is doing... :monkey2

I am afraid I have to report that as of 6:30 AM this morning, the poor little mouse is still right where I last saw him, but with a slightly more glossy coat... slightly more glossy because of the freezing rain and sleet that now covers him a little bit more... :monkey2

No way can I let my daughter see that mouse. Of course, what can I let her see on this forum. :D

Yeah, the cat pic would be worse. :D

For your daughter and Tom's kids, if you don't tell them he is "dead", he just looks like a cute little mouse sitting on his rump!!! :D

For the love of God, please give the little guy some dignity and bury him or something! Please! :monkey2

OK...

[Paul Harvey voice on] And Now for the rest of the story... [/Paul Harvey voice off]

I was misinformed yesterday! What I wrote in the first post was what I had been told by several people. Here is what really happened. One of our employees (who lives on a farm) got to work and noticed (with horror) that this little guy had somehow gotten into her vehicle (probably to keep warm). He apparently tried to get a drink of water from an open cup in her cup holder (don't ask me why there was no lid) and fell in. He probably died from exposure pretty quickly before he could get out. Upon arrival at work, she tossed the contents out onto the ground next to our building and he landed that way, sitting up! I swear, I had thought I had posted the truth about him! :monkey3

Somehow, he was more "poor little guy" when it appeared he had simply frozen to death! :rotfl
