Hey people!

posted my finished Medi fett some time ago, and rebooted him after a collegue of mine made a suggestion using silver as a basecoat and adding layer after layer of paint, instead of using the green as a base and adding the silver. This way looks a lot better ánd is more accurate! I'm working this way right now and wanted to show some pics of the process, What you see is mostly done, apart from the visor obviously! Am contemplating wether or not to put a coating on the paint, because I love how matte he is in color atm..

there's a TON of detail on him, he has about 7 layers of paint on him right now. He's as screen accurate as I could get him with my reference and he just looks great even though theres probably some details different.

Will go on with his ears after I fix it. Broke of a little bit when trying to remove them, should be no issue as soon as I get the clay in!

hope you like it! I do! :D

while waiting for my dullcoat to arrive, I figured I might as well start on the rest of the parts!

Finished the chest armor, very pleased with it!:

Alright, so I ____ed up the headsculpt adding the varnish LOL. Little brother grabbed it and it was ____ED because it was still drying.. BUUUUT he looks even better so far, fixed a little of his helmet color, a little more green. took the pix over at "fan made fetts" for reference material,

things still to do:

add the killstripes
paint the visor
add the wookie braids lol I forgot them.
oh and paint the white parts on his earpieces.
here's my reference pic:

BEHOLD the FETT! (he's not wearing a headsculpt underneath thats why his neck is so short lol.

VERY nice work!!! I have had a nice old school Marmit Boba that I repainted like this years ago (which I never have shared anywhere, online or otherwise...) but seeing your's makes me want to.
Your weathering and chipping is superb! SUPERB! Some of the best of it's kind. And to go back and redo the greens, amazing! You are nailing him.
A salute you!

progress has been made, but still not quite there. but bad quality photo update anyway!

true high gloss black added on the visor, and made his battle damage even more accurate!

hope you like it, still not entirely happy with the light green earpiece, will probably redo him.

Looks fantastic, mate! I painted a 1:1 Boba helmet and know a bit how the colours and scratches etc need to look and to see this perfectly done in 1/6.. wow!

Fantastisch goed gedaan, maat!

That looks great... are you keeping the same body?

I just swapped Jango onto a Slim TrueType and it worked quite well in giving him more height and a more impressive appearance.

in the process of repainting the earpieces I;m going to replace his standard "button" on his cheek with a home made more accurate one lol. thats because I lost the one he was having since its so damn tiny, but heck my own looks better to me, will be painting it tomorrow:
