Been ages since I posted pics, but wanted to post the pics of the " final " product.. Am happy as he is on the shelve.. for now, I know I can do WAY better than this but I have failed to aquire a nice other Boba helmet 1/6th scale to repaint, thing is.. I found out Medi's plastic basically loses alot of detail when you use nail polish remover to remove the paint, which means the helmet's sculpt is softer than it should be.. WHICH SUCKS. because the helmet repaint was awesome lol.

Anyone got a better idea as to how to start painting a next helmet should I acquire one? Nail polish is no good, ruins the sculpt. Just paint over the factory paint job? :S

anyway, here he is with his earpieces which I haven't repainted yet, beefed him up a bit, fully weathered his clothes, repainted EVERYTHING apart from his gauntlets and gloves and jetpack, dyed his clothes the proper color, and lowered his jetpack.

Will see this as a test piece from now on. Next Fett I take on (Sideshow, medi, doesnt matter really) will be bloody PERFECT. :rock

So this is basically a request for anyone out there getting no use for Medi fett, if you want to sell the helmet, PLEASE let me know, I need another shot at this!

and if not.. I pray sideshows sculpt will be good enough! !

Looks great to me. I can't remember the exact colouring from the films, but I love the weathering.
