Man, I actually thought you misspelled "raising" until I looked at the link. That's awesome they're doing that, but I usually donate through those cell phone texts. Thoughts and prayers with all affected by the earthquake/tsunami!!!!

just finished reading another round of japan's disaster news. i was just thinking, if everyone here would just sacrifice buying one hottoys fig, just one, and donate the money to japan instead... wouldnt that make the dwellers in this forum a much much cooler bunch of collectors?

i know we're all diehard toy addicts here, and it's hard to give up a cool hottoys, but really... what's a single toy now compared to what that money can get for the tsunami victims? this is a disaster of unbelievable scale. towns vanished, tens of thousands dead and missing, nuclear catastrophe impending... it's just epic. personally i am ashamed of myself now to even think of getting a toy when i know that money can be spent better elsewhere. and dont say $150 is cash you cant afford - if you can spare that much just for a toy, then you can spare it for something else more worthy.

so, i guess what i'm saying is... bow down your head in shame, or do something.

We should try to help them since we got so much help with the Katrina disaster.
