that's weird. it sounds SO much like a song that was written for the show. does it have any words? can't see words fitting in that song.

It has that bell clanging sound... but the Futurama theme song has a much different beat and melody. hehe

Whoever orchestrated the theme song probably may have taken some ideas from this, but the two don't sound a whole lot alike IMO.

You're just going "Batty." How appropriate your name is. hehe

Christopher Tyng, who composed the Futurama theme, said it's based on the Pierre Henry song. He talks about it on the season 2 DVD.

I agreed, but I am saying they are not the same either. But definitely you can see he took a little bit from the Pierre Henry piece. However, everyone takes something on something from someone. Just when you think you're the originator, you find that someone else already did it. Just packaged a little different. hehe

Thanks for the lesson, Mr. Obvious.

Thanks Batty... they theme for Futurama has always been one of my favorites, cool to get some of the history of it :rock

And f' you Eli for being a douche :lol

It's okay. btw Batty and gal, don't piss or spit in the wind.

Don't touch wet paint on a wall, and don't tell a woman that it's not the dress that makes her look fat, but it's the body that's wearing the dress that's fat.

I can go on if you wish? hehe
