After alot of thread reading, I decided to use Future floor finish for the gloss on the eyes. Now, I went to look for it, but I could not find it. Though I did found Pledge with Future Floor Finish, my question is, is that the same stuff? On one web site it said that it wasnt, on another a read that it is just re-labeled. Anyone know which one is it? Thanks.

Never heard of using floor polish for eyes... I've been using model masters gloss clear acryl. Works really well.

Pledge with Future may very well be a repackaging of the original "Future" floor wax. They are both from S. C. Johnson & Co. I checked it out on the web and even the bottle is shaped the same, with only the label looking different. I think you are good to go.

I've been using "Future" floor polish for over two decades on my model kits. I build scale aircraft models and use the Future before and after laying down the decals. I also use it on the dials on the instrument panels and dip the canopies in the future as well. Provides a clear glass-like look and shine, as well as protects the canopy, decals and the paint applications underneath from nicks and even ultra-violet damage (keeps whites from turning yellow).

As for 1/6th, remember that a little goes a long way. Simply dab a little on the center of the eye and carefully spread it around just the eye portion. If you let it run further out, it will make the figure look like he's crying. A tiny dab on the lower lip, specifically the area where it meets the upper lip, will also look good.

The added bonus with Future is that it's water based, so clean up is a snap. Smells nice, too. ;)
