I cheated and did a Top 5 for the Joes and a Top 5 for Cobra:

Joes:
  1. Mutt & Junkyard
  2. Wild Bill w/Dragonfly
  3. Clutch w/VAMP
  4. Airborne
  5. Retro Scarlett
Cobra:
  1. Nemesis Immortal
  2. Road Pig & Rawkus
  3. Torch
  4. Retro Cobra Commander
  5. Shadow Tracker (I didn't get him until early in January)

After a month of this thread being dead, it's nice to see some discussion in here again.

The year is almost over. Anyone want to share their Top 5 Classified figures for 2024?

Best?

Clutch with VAMP. Easily IMHO. So much potential everywhere with that.

In general, I was impressed with the creativity of the more arcane deluxes. Like Raptor and Road Pig. Those were IMHO, not that great of concepts as kids, but the design team managed to fusion some modern practicality and interesting aesthetics to it. The fear factor is I don't think they sell that well, and it doesn't bode well for the line when the deluxes don't sell well. I think when you make a deluxe out of a Snow Serpent, Snow Job and figures of that nature, then you get a lot of interest. But not the arcane subject matter. I just hope Classified last long enough so we might see some Pursuit of Cobra or 25th Anniversary kind of concepts. Some of those 4 inch Joes back in 2010-ish, those were rocking. Some of those were really incredible and creative. Like the 4 inch Dusty with the little barbed wire roll and alternate masked head, that was so cool and would be a great Classified concept. Or Shipwreck with the black beanie and plate carrier. Stuff like that. Or the Cobra Shock Trooper, which was kind of a blend of a law enforcement/crowd control/night ops/army builder kind of figure.

I'd like to see more of the core material made first. I'd like to see Zap, Deep Six, Sci Fi and Musk Rat made before Crystal Ball for example.

The Dragonfly is a clear, childhood memory for me. I got it at a local store called Venture a couple of miles from where I lived. It was the last one on the bottom shelf, and I had got there mere minutes before a couple of teenagers had arrived.
This thing is a friggin’ BEAST! So much so, that I’m literally out of room now. I have the Rattler coming next year and have absolutely no space for it. I’m seriously gonna have to cut back in 2025, picking up the products I want the most.

I’ll pick up CG, BAT and the Tele-Viper and I love they added cartoon style texts to the visor of the T-V.
I'm in for all of 'em! Another image shows that the Cover Girl heads can swap between the different hair pieces, I wish there was one with ponytail but without the hat and one with short auburn hair. I don't know why they put out ANOTHER BAT, seems like a waisted opportunity. I would've preferred a retro reissue of Snowjob. The Green Shirt is a welcome surprise! love that he comes with the visor helmet and different ethnic head options! I wish it also came with an asian head option and instead of or in addition to the fists, a set of forward rifle grip glove hands, those would be more useful. I'm still likely to buy multiples.
Then there's my boy Flint.... I need to see another image of that head, it looks, okay. I think Flint should have a more chiseled jaw, If I'm not happy with it, I'll just switch it with the Night Force Falcon head which would look closer to my ideal Flint.

I just got the SAW Viper in the mail. I didn't think I'd like this figure as much as I do. It has a few flaws. The oversized and under detailed M249 is soft warpy plastic, the ammo feeds into a port that's too low on the receiver, the ammo can has an odd indentation in the front and back, and the mini black & decker chainsaw is a joke. I also had to replace the feed chute with a Classified 7.62 belt just because the scale of the chut didn't look right with the SAW, admittedly, the belt is larger than it should be but, I couldn't find a 5.56 belt option.
I have the Gridiron printed version of this weapon (also oversized) But I think I'll wait for the Monster Force plastic reproduction that's coming out this year in the Phantom Corps Zombie Defense Load Out set.
Nitpicky, I know, but there shouldn't be a need to replace these weapons with something that looks better, might as well point out all the flaws.
I added muzzle effects because Hasbro is too cheap to include them, at least the barrel port is a universal size.

I also got a few more Joes to fill-in the holes of my collection. Quick Kick is a fun figure to pose around!
I'm using a Viper goggle piece because Crazy Legs' goggles won't fit on the helmet right. The Haslab figures pose well and the face paint on CL and Glenda look better than reviewers have been saying. Ripcord on the other hand, has jacked up eyes under that helmet visor, I'm glad you can't see through it.

I managed to get another Night Force Falcon & Quarrel set at $24, they make great background troops! The vest options on Doc are fun to pop and swap around with the Action Soldier pouches if you have them. I also finally got a Classified Hawk before it disappears, I didn't snap a good pic of that one.

If you have any 1/12 gumby/"WTF Is This" type weapons you don't want, I'll take them off your hands.

Not just you, but anyone here. ( Heads, bodies, vests, guns, packs, fodder, I'm open to all of it) I'll use them for customs or diorama background stuff. Hell, some of the larger stuff, I might be able to use and convert for Transformers use too.

Will buy or trade.
