Iā€™m sorry I forgot to mention that he apparently is a Target exclusive. Iā€™m sure heā€™ll go up on Pulse later today. Iā€™m really not sure where all of the exclusives are going either. Maybe the MASS Device is Target exclusive? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
I started reading a bit more into it and it seems Snake Eyes and Polar Bear and radioactive MASS crystals are a Fanmazon exclusive and the Heavy Water divers are Walmart exclusives. So much like the mini series, the hunt for the MASS elements is all over the place :lol

I preordered one of everything as you never know what may be hard to find once it hits anymore. Pulse gets everything dead last these days so I can always cancel and pivot if theyā€™re in stock anywhere before then or I find them in the wild. Not having the divers on preorder yet makes me antsy by not having three elements yet. I donā€™t have a Storm Shadow to retrieve them for me

I dont like to complain that often, cause there is already a lot of negativity about collecting. But, this method of ordering online and missing preorders is a long way from "the hunt" of the past. I use to love checking stores and the excitement of finding figures on pegs. Times have changed I guess.

šŸ’Æ!

The last time I really ā€˜huntedā€™ was for the 25th Anniversary in 2009-10.

We all miss Toys R Us. 95% of the time, I didnā€™t buy anything but 100% of the time, I was in complete and utter at just looking at everything they had. I miss that wonderful place, especially when I travel the pitiful aisles of Target and Walmart.

This is a review on the Final Faction line from Dollar Tree. But if you listen to the guy, he points out the appeal of the accessibility, budget price, volume and practicality. And it's something even really poor kids can get, he doesn't quite say that plainly, but it's implied. I see what you are saying, it's nice to collect without jumping through all the hoops. Collecting is not supposed to feel like another job. Or another obligation. This is why I enjoy hunting at the discount outlets. It's cheap, fun, I can bring it home that day if I find something and I don't have to deal with the preorder/crowdfunded/time released/exclusive/ etc, etc madness.

I understand where you are coming from and I miss what collecting used to be.

Okay, what word would have been a better fit? ā€¦.I missed the PO and will be on the ā€œsearchā€ nowā€¦ the ā€œlookoutā€ā€¦ the ā€œjourneyā€ šŸ˜‚
I still go on the hunt at stores when I get time, but finding Joes in the wild is tough. Definitely not the same as it use to be, but Iā€™ve been saying that since the internet was created šŸ˜†
