Gave young Kenobi a repaint today... quite happy with the result; another one of those sculpts that really shines with a bit of work
I was happy with the intensity I was able to get with his head tilted forward:
I hope to have him on a new body, dressed and futzed sometime tomorrow

Decided to revisit my ANH Han figure... in retrospect I should have just chucked the cast head and just dremmeled off the neck of my own figure. But I figured it would be easier this way... unfortuntaley there seem to be some imperfections (noticeably part of the lid of the right eye missing) in the cast that really made it a ***** to paint both times; so live and learn.
Happier with him than the first version... but I already feel like I'll revisit him for a 3rd try
Regardless of all that; I repainted the torso, head and flesh part of the hands and swapped out the stock boots for some of the leatherlike ones.
And on display:

Yeah, Leia is one I'm kind of unsure of. The outfit on her is so crappy and the head so big it kind of seems like a waste of time
At one point there were some "shrunken" sculpts of her, but I never seemed to be able to get one. So until that happens, or option 3 arrives I may just keep her in the background

Pretty much... one of Sideshow's weaker efforts. And honestly if the dress had just been made of a less crappy material it could have been easily salvaged

I actually dig the Leia sculpt itself. It's just the size of the head that's bad for me.
Oh and I love the ANH shelf. I really need to pick me up a Han. Nice work btw.

I agree... I think both Leia's are solid sculpts, just so massive that the idea of messing with them isn't very attractive. Still, I may give it a shot but I'd need to find a new body first.

Got in Mando's fantastic Indy and ESB Han mash-up and painted him up last night. Everything else is Sideshow except for the HT body and DiD boots.
