Galadriel PF

Ugh, that first pic makes her look like Claire Danes. Not sure why it would be difficult to capture Cate Blanchett especially in 1/4 scale! And I'm not sure if her ears should really flare out like that. Apologies for nitpicking, but the small inconsistencies I'm seeing, along with the issue of her hair is not giving me any warmer fuzzies.

I know she wasn't in LOTR but I did think the "ugh" was a bit hard on the poor girl. Any way I have gone on the wait list for Galadriel having cancelled the figure a while ago. I think the figure looks good apart from the tarty lips.

Love it great pics guys thanks. The lips have to go I think, how difficult would it be to paint those? Any tips on what to use as I have never painted a statue in my life and would probably be crap at it but I would try to tone those hoe lips down for sure!!!

Clearly she looks better without the bright red lips, Josh do you have plenty of flesh lipstick paint ready?

I guess with a certain attitude all PFs look like "big dolls". The clothes do take some futzing. After I took these photos I smoothed out the dress, aligned the sleeves and futzed around with the cape. But I would completely disagree about the pose being awkward, especially compared to Gandalf.

Looks good except the lips. I'll put this one on the "to get" list, but no big hurry. I still need to get Aragorn first, but it looks that will have to wait as Sideshow just charged me for Anakin and Asajj EX PF's this week.

To continue to hammer the point, yes, those lips are terrible. I've never repainted anything, and would be afraid to try. Is there someone that would do it for me?

Thanks for the pics Dave doesnt look to bad at all but i also think they could have tried a bit harder to get the hair colour spot on.

I'm very impressed by it.Like others have said, except for the lips,its a very nice statue.looks good in a PF collection.

On a Side note,on Dave's group pictures Gandalf looks to have a gigantic head compare to others.... Galadriel is a better statue than him for sure...

Gandalf's head is proportionate - chin to forehead about the same as Aragorn, but all the white may make it appear larger.

The pose is straight from the film, and the likeness is there, although the red lipstick hurts it.

The left arm is a bit akward, but it is accurate.

Yeah i can't remember her left arm being up, and i only watched FOTR yesterday. Looks like she's holding her unborn baby.
And yes, Aragorn shows those two up very much! Looking at that pic, it's easy to decide to stick with statues.

Nope. I have one arriving Friday!
While I would have preferred someone else (Gimli, Boromir or Legolas), I appreciate the diversity of character selection thus far in this line - an Uruk-Hai, a Hobbit, a Wizard, a Man, and an Elf, with an Orc due next. After the Berserker, I think we could use a Dwarf or a Nazgul !
