Re: A trio of gamer commission sculpts.

"Not fully detailed to be a true 1:6 sculpt by today's standards...." If by "today's standards" you are referring to Hot Toys and Enterbay's style, then you are correct, but with the popularity of companies like 3A and Damtoys' Gangsters Kingdom, I wouldn't say that a "fully detailed" figure is the "standard".

Of course, I'm a bit bias. As a fan of animation, I love the stylized look. Personally, I'd love to see other actor's images in this style.

Eric

Exactly. Or any other company other than 3A or Damtoys. They are a small percentage of what is available thus not the standard.
And, unlike you, I can't stand that style. Maybe if they were all more like Peter's Eastwood, but not the more general offerings.

And I still miss RPT. :D

Re: Stylized Clint Eastwood commission sculpt.

I hate these stylized and 3A type of renditions.
That said, this Clint is far and away one of the best I've seen in this category. Not fully detailed to be a true 1:6 sculpt by today's standards but easily recognizable and a better resemblence than the early celebrity sculpts offered by many. Just take a look at ITPT's Clint and see what I mean. I have that sculpt and still stare at it trying to see any Eastwood in it.
Nice job Pete.

Thanks Ironman, glad you like the sculpt.

cheers,
Peter.

looking great Peter!

I was wondering - how long do you usually take to complete a head sculpt? You seem to churn these things out very fast!

Thanks sdabbs, I try to achieve a turn around time of about four days to completion, depending on the feed back from the commissioner.
