I got to be honest....I kinda like the base. I know it's not equal to some of the detail we've seen in the past, but for some reason I like it. It reminds me of the Ms. Marvel base, in terms of simplicity, which I thought had a great base. I do like the idea though that's been thrown around about a base for both Gambit and Rogue to share. I'd like to see someway to link the two.

I definitely see your point though. I'd like to see a lot more from the base. Luckily, the plainness works without ruining the piece.

yeah, and i guess we shouldn't be surprised since they did say it was a companion piece to Gambit.

I was in a similar situation. Got the reg. in the end; the EX hand is pretty nice but it's (allegedly) prone to breakages and, personally, I prefer the normal hand anyway.

In the end, though, it comes down to whether you consider a switch-out arm and lower ES to be worth the extra 100 euros. After all, that's 100 euros that could go toward another statue somewhere down the road. .

$135 more for the exclusive? I wouldn't get it. It is nice but not that nice. The regular is nice enough.

Not digging the base. Gambit's takes up too much real estate as is, now it will take twice the space. I hope they have a special base planned for these two to be displayed together like the Bride Of Frankenstein set.
