I'll back that up. They've already done the new versions in diorama form. When I think of PFs, I think of the more classic realizations of the characters. It's how they've done it so far.

Unfortunately, that is the only reason why some people buy this stuff.

I think that is sad. I buy for the joy of the piece. I have never bought solely as an investment. Where is the joy in that ?

And to get a higher resale value when they sell it.

I don't have that enter into my mind when buying new pieces. . . That would just drive me nuts if it didn't rise and I bought it solely for that purpose.
