There was a game, they (square) did called Vagrant Story...and I thought the story itself was far superior to both. I am talking near LOTR good.Too bad the gameplay wasn't. I noticed I haven't touched a rpg since then.

oh man, I REALLY wanted to like this game, but the gameplay turned me off so much.

but back on topic, I'd love to see an HD version of Super Metroid. god, I'd love that.

I would love to see a remake of the original Shinobi games from Sega. Having remakes of the old Metal Gear games, with upgraded next-gen graphics would also be pretty cool.
