Hey everyone. Not sure if there is already a thread for this or even much interest but I wanted to start a thread with people showing any tattoos they might have from video games. Also to get a general view on them. Are they too geeky, sad, too high a change of regret in later life etc...

I am considering having my first tattoo done soon and I'm thinking I might get one of Link swinging his sword, next to princess Zelda and Ganon looking over them. Zelda was very much a part of my childhood. I'm sure there must be people here who feel the same about a video game series.

Post away, or not...

I'm still debating on getting a tattoo... I'm just terribly afraid of needles :s

I would love to get a Luma on my right shoulder, you know that cute little star from Mario Galaxy
I'd get that because
a) it's cute
b) grew up with Nintendo and loved Mario as a kid
c) it's game related but not that 'in your face' type, people who don't know what it is will think that it's just some star :)

(posted by the female half of I and I just to be clear ;) )

I'm willing to bet that Akuma's "ten" symbol is probably the most common game related tattoo that people have. I have tattoos, but none of them game related.

I think character tattoos are tacky. Maybe a shield or something subtle might be okay... dunno, I'm kind of nit-picky about tattoos. A full on gang is kind of ott.

I think to an extent it can look tacky. I have seen some very nicely stylised ones that look great. It depends on the art style I think.
