How come Legolas is being release first than Gandalf. Legolas is on June and Gandalf on July?
Don't know. First I've seen them have actual months listed with them.
Yes, you douche.
I just checked out the GTG MQ Ex page and it's moved from 20 available (as of last night) to approx. 12. It appears that the Gimli reveal has knocked a few off of the fence!
Back up to 30 now, talk about a yo-yo. Gimli may have worked in reverse, forcing some people to decide which side of the fence to sit on and they went for Gimli, given that Gandalf doesn't have a NRD, making it much easier to cancel.
From the masthead:
The wind blown cape looks really good now ...doesn't it?

Totally disagree about Gandalf, that's one of the few likenesses I think Weta actually did pretty well.
In regards to Legolas, I think you owe Orlando Bloom's stand in an apology, the likeness is uncanny.

... Maybe I should kill two birds with one stone and apologize to Ian Mckellan's stand-in while I'm at it.
That's super blown up, from normal viewing it looks ok.
Although I love the new Gimli and Aragorn, I'm not overly fond of Legolas and Gandalf based on the poses.

This is not really surprising. The Legolas and Gandalf maquettes were completed around the same time. Gandalf went up for pre-order in July of 2010 and Legolas was supposed to go up one month later. SS, for some reason, held Legolas back until Jan. 2011 but prod. in China started well before Legolas went up for pre-order.
Nice! I really think GTG is gonna surprise some folks with how nice it will look in person. I loved it at Comic-Con.
