Almost missed my earlier stated employment deadline as well...caused me to run over. Give me 15-20 minutes and I'll have some pics of the Balrog body and Gandalf.

Woot....thanks again for the effort. As much as people will razz ya...they do appreciate it.

Okay, sorry it took so long. Had some (real) work to finish, and it was a pain to take these pics and e-mail them to myself.

Again, this pics are of poor quality, taken with my camera phone. I imagine they'll look worse blown up.

First pic is a close-up of the Balrog. He's pretty sturdy, I estimate he's about seven pounds.

Both of his wings are seperated from his body, as is his whip.

Another close up.

The Balrog Sculpt itself is fantastic, and very solid. Can't wait to get home and put it together.

hey are you using tinypic ?? cause you can resize the image before you select download. i always select 15", that way it always fills the screen without having to move back and forth.

but anyways thanks for the additional pics. certianly looks like a keeper.

Man, those pics look like a$$ blown up. Sorry...

Pics of Gandalf. Sorry to say that if you thought the proto pics made him look cartoony, he still does. What is interesting is Glamdring is bent, but I played with it and is fairly pliable. Sideshow must have made Glamdring pliable/flexible to prevent breakage.

Thanks to quadcent for directing me to the link that showed me how to post the full size pics. Thanks to all for bearing with me on my first thread. Hopefully, I can get some better pics of the assembled product with my SLR tonight.

Yeah, I did use tinypic. I didn't resize it though. I'll give another shot tonight with my SLR.

what is gan' holding onto, is that bal's horn that looked to be broken in the first pics??
does the whip attach to gandalf??

i can see alot of custom paints been done on gandolf, looks great so far even with the goggle vision:google:google

The Rog looks great as far as i can see it from the pics so far. And i was expecting no changes on the cartoony Gandalf. Can't wait till he's fully esembled.:naughty

Yeah, the goggle vision is pretty bad. You're correct, quadcent, that is the part of the Balrog's horn that Gandalf is grabbing onto. Haven't taken out the whip yet, so I'm not sure how it attaches to Gandalf.

I'm headed home now, so I promise (got the hint, Malice) to take better pics. In fact, I'll try to take step by step pics of the unboxing and assembling again.

Nice the ROG looks WAY cool!!!!

Gandalf cartoony...........hummmmmm,

WHO THE HELL CARES!!!!!

The piece looks stunning and huge!

Is this thing as heavy as I am thinking??

Just got a call from UPS that my SS package will be delivered tomorrow at the following scheduled time.................

7AM - 8PM...........

Good thing they gave me a small window!!!!:duh

Thanks for posting pics......eagerly awaiting the SLR version :)

Also, if you have a LSB or something to put it by for scale that would rock.
