Eh, other characters just as worthy I'd rather spend the $700 on. Raoul Duke, Pee-Wee Herman, stuff equally complicated I won't already have represented and can't be bashed.

Completely hear you Mike and my rule has always been one figure of a character per film! I would break that for Alex
I just can only imagine a Rainman Alex in that lush purple trench with snakeskin lapels and cuffs

Yeh I would get a v2 of that at a drop of a bowler hat.

Why not just convince Rainman to do a clothing acessory set for Alex? Makes sense since his heads are so easy to swap and that hasn't really played any part since the Narrator came with two heads.
It'd be differant with Deniro in Taxi Driver as his two outfits represent a huge change in character and the way he thinks/acts. But here its just something he puts on for one scene so as to not look like a hooligan in public. I'd like it but not enough for a full figure on this one IMO, just not iconic enough to justify $700 and other accessories aside from the outfit present a problem. All he's got in that scene is his cane.
This way you could include a few extras to go with the other version of Alex as well as extra incentive like the dancing jesus statues or something. I can't imagine many people would pick up a v.2 Alex without owning the more iconic v.1

Another thought, Serang is offering a full Dr. House figure.
Then to the people who buy the full figure, he offers a leather jacket accessory for $100 more.
Maybe just offer it as an option to those interested who buy the full set. Not something you have to buy but can.

I don't think it is the purple jacket that presents the problem
I am sure this could happily be the special item but its what we need to go with it like for instance the hatless sculpt, so its not really the same

+ add Second head and Outfit for $250 or w/e price.
