Steps are easy (well, generic steps are - the actual Jabba's steps have parts that are not square, and have bumps inlaid), but I'm talking about steps with some curved wall. Walls inset with those glowing windows/lights, and elements like the BG-J38 gambling console, the hanging drink dispenser thingies or the tauntaun head.

So, I found the rest of the pictures from that site. Where does THAT guy find his reference?? Is there a cutaway book that you glean all that info from?? Hell, if I could find all the info, I'd try to make the archway and curved steps. I'm sure I could track down the materials, I just need the proper reference.

The problem is, the steps are relatively easy to make. I've thought about doing it, just gluing some pieces of pink foam together and using textured epoxy paste to get that 'rock' texture. The tough part is paint matching. You could make it yourself for about $15.

If Sideshow made it, it'd be at least $80.

I've got to assume the barbecue pit is in their planning. At least something they've got designs kicking around for. It's a given it'll show up sooner or later. But, will anybody buy it for $250??

Expensive it will probably be. I do wish for SS to offer the steps for overall consistency in the display. Actually the trap door would be great too!:lol

Missed out on a Gartogg for about $95 on eBay... I had meant to bid on the sellers regular Gammy so it wasn't a total loss :lol

Still hoping to get one of them for under $100 shipped.

Here you go. Of course the Attakus statue is 100% sculpted, but it looks a lot like fabric.

I have to say that I'm not really a star wars creature person myself.. But the Gammy 1/1 bust looks amazing! I'm getting it at the end of the month from a board member. Was thinking of getting that environment statue along with the 12" figure too some time.. Or maybe just get the environment statue and put my Medicom Boba in it...

They've apparently added a light-up feature to the arch, but it looks like it's just the door panel lights? Not sure if that's going to change anybody's mind about this piece.

Doesn't change my mind, but makes it a little more tempting...and frustrating that the Han in Carbonite doesn't have lights and should!

Yep. The level of frustration I had when i saw this made my skin crawl. Seeing the lights on the PF one made me even more furious. Gonna give them a bit of feedback on that one when we are at the con. :/

Im actually gearing up for the archway. However, the Han Carbonite and archway needed some type of "link" to unify the overall Jabba throne diorama...So I went ahead and cast two sets of 1/6 throne "steps" out of plaster, carefully painted, weathered, and sealed them for my Jabba display.
When all was said and done, they have the same texture, weight and feel as the throne itself. (no foam or wood for me) The best part is that I can make/display more these steps...or just one at a time. I may use the steps for my Indy, Joes, Ghostbusters, (painted in a gray scheme) Sandies, Yavin Luke and Han (tan scheme)...The possibilities are endless. I will be posting pics once I get the Tatooine Gangster and all his croonies set up again.

If only I had two menacing Gammy's to stand at the top of each step or SS Boba Fett....:monkey2

I finally got it set up today!...What do you think?
p.s. I will be putting a set in the commerce section or the Bay. (PM me.):peace

Plasticcrapmoneywaster, does your "light up" feature "strobe"?
