$20 is high when you just need the 7 maps but is a steal if you haven't picked the maps up. I just got Drakes Fortune used for that price and also bought a new copy of C&C Kane's Wrath for less than that. I just don't like the tactic being used to make you buy the maps for more and I will not be picking these up. If they decide to release them separately down the road then I will get them but my 20 will finally be going towards Broken Steel and The Pitt.

Part of that price includes stuff we're already got though. So take that out and charge less for this or charge $20 for all of it and wait to put out map packs. Not that the price is an issues cause its not but how its handled irks me.

People still forget that we are getting a poster, custom theme, strategy guide, etc. Most of that would probably add up to at least $12 - $15.

They will argue that they wouldn't buy that stuff anyway, but they are nice extras that make it worth getting to me.

Yeah, but how big is this poster going to be? Standard poster or one of those little insert jobs? The Theme should be cool especially if its one of those premium ones that puts displays with your friends. The strategy guide if its a complete detail one would be cool but if its like what came with Halo Wars then its not worth much.

Like I said its more about the execution of things.

Thats true. If we go with that then the poster will be neat but one of those little insert jobs and the guide will not be much to write home about. The one for Halo Wars covered one mission and thats it. The theme I would expect to be a premium one and of the three probably will be the coolest item.

I'm gonna buy it @ $20 and its not a mega issue for me but this is something that probably should come in at the $12-$15 range total.

I honestly wouldn't mind paying for the maps if their focus was on the gameplay. Apparently it is not. That's why paying for maps before they fix the game bugs me a bit. They admit that the game isn't where they would like it but then ask for more money for maps.

Stop working on the maps and just focus on the damn gameplay. That's my opinion. :peace

The maps are easy to make (they don't have to mess with the code of the original game). While fixing the actual mechanics that ^^^^ up the game would probably require a massive overhaul.

I don't know. If they were that easy don't you think they would be turning new ones out every week or at least once a month?

It's no excuse. They are still using resources that they should be using to fix the game. Period.

Yeah, if they started doing it now they might have it ready by next year at the rate Epic gets things right.
