Statue Gears of War Marcus Fenix Custom

Hello,

I'm currently trying to gauge interest on a 1/4 scale Marcus Fenix statue being commissioned. It'd be around 18inches. Price would be between 300 and 400 dollars. The sculptor says he doesn't need any upfront payment, only for people to "commit" to it. Feel free to comment in here or PM if interested. (We are currently bouncing back and forth as to wether or not it'd be gears 2 or gears 3 Marcus.)

I have interest, but like ink said, I'd like to see some pictures and maybe get a little more background info on who is doing the sculpt and painting.

Ok. Well I'm talking to him about maybe finding a picture, or drawing one himself of the statue he wants to do. To give you guys an idea.

I'll ask him if it's ok that I show his past work. (Which is amazing!)

All in all thought, he seems pretty confident in his ability. And when I say commit, it sounded to me like he just wanted me to get as many people as possible to say"yes, I'd buy a statue like that if it came out well". He said specifically, he would not need a money commitment before hand.

Well, I can say that I'm interested. But a lot will depend on the look and quality of the sculpt and paint, as well as the price. But I look forward to seeing more.

I don't know about a flex pay option. I'll ask when we get closer to that. Maybe a 50/50 plan later though... Idk.

Yeah, one of my favorite poses too. To show off more of the gear, the head might be posed straight forward so he can be displayed head on. Really up to the sculptor. It might be a while, but I will keep this up to date.

I love me some Gears but currently I'm happy with the LE statue from Gears 3.

i think you need to divulge a bit more about the artist. name? folio of previous work? maybe he could come on the forums himself? it not risky to commit since there is no monetary deposit but not knowing anything just isn't going to create interest. you have to give the freaks more to go on than just a video game cover.
