Is there a way I can be an alternate just in case someone else doesn't show up and I can get on?

It looks like unless we get a few more confirmed, we'll have a few alternates. But I will add you to the list.

I think the other 3 are pretty evenly matched. Don't know how fair it is to let Ill captain a team as he's easily one of the top two players.

I mean this with all respect to your Gears skills, I think the only way it could possibly work is if you had the last pick. You would still get two pretty good people but it would be a bit more fair than you and Yippy being on the same team.
