The Spurs might not deal want to deal with the Lakers, but they have no leverage. Teams can trade for Kawhi, but they have to know they it might be a one year rental. Teams can take that risk, after all, PG13 going to LA was a foregone conclusion. But of course we know he decided to stay with OKC this year.

Kawhi said he’d be happy going to the Clippers too. 🤷*♂️

I’m wondering how quickly Lonzo is out of LA. Lance Stephenson is a really odd signing for a mid-level exemption...it reminds me of the Warriors signing Swaggy and how awesome he was for them in 2017-2018. I can’t wait for him to ship out. I can’t believe he’s even getting a ring. [emoji15]

Surprised George would rather play with Westbrook and Melo when they couldn’t beat the Jazz instead of Lebron.

yea, that just doesn't make any sense to me. Did PG not watch any of those years Wes had Durant and even Harden? OKC might not even make it out of the first round this year. Bring PG on the LA team and they have a lot of pieces that could make it interesting.

I think the Spurs are far less likely to make a deal with the Lakers now unless the Lakers make a huge offer, and that somewhat defeats the purpose of the deal if the Lakers are worse off. That is unless you think Kawhi, Lebron and a bunch of stiffs off the street can beat the Rockets, Warriors, Celtics, etc.

I would say there is almost 0 chance Leonard gets traded unless it's to Philly. Bos has so much young talent, and Leonard's health is still up in the air.

The trade can't happen now unless LA unloaded all their youth. I think the signing of Stephenson and McGee just shows LA has no more interest in trying to get Leonard. They got the best of the bunch and seem satisfied.

Lonzo stays me thinks. Not sure if he starts, but I think having another great passer around Lebron is a good idea. C'mon, Lance is a great signing! Every team needs a crazy guy lol.

I am very surprised that Lebron didn't bring anyone with him with this decision. It's obvious, winning a title wasn't his sole motivation in doing this. He could've gone to Philly, GS, SA or even Bos if he wanted to keep his Finals streak alive. That being said, as much as I hate LA, I think they have a lot of very good talent.

Kuzma could turn into a All Star with Lebron there, Randle was a stud in the 2nd half of last season, Ingraham also has lots of potential and Ball could be a Jason Kidd like player for them. Leonard could always come over next season too. I will always root for Lebron to have success, but will never root for the Lakers to win, so I'm obviously not a fan of this choice.

Lonzo’s passing is fine, but his lack of shooting is not. Plus there is the father issue. I just don’t see this as a good fit with Lebron.

Lonzo absolutely needs to retool his jumper. Honestly even if he was deadly from 3, he would never get good shots off with that form. And he's far from deadly lol. So just change the form and shoot 1000 jumpers a day. That should have been his focus over the summer. I think they should deal him if possible. I guess it makes sense for the Spurs to just sit on Kawhi for a while but what is better, losing Kawhi and getting nothing in return next summer or getting Brando Ingraham and maybe Randall and picks for Kawhi now?

Lakers should include Ball in any deal and try to keep Ingram...Bron can play point, Ingram the 4 or 5...

Well there is no way they can get Kawhi without including Ingram. I would be ok with that. Lonzo is not needed with Bron out there unless he can develop a legit shot and that could be a few years away. I would say if they can get Kawhi and keep Kuz and Randall, that could still work well.

Lebron with this Lakers team..hmmm

We have to see, so many stars have failed coming to the Lakers in the past few years. I wonder does he have the factor that can turn this version of the Lakers around to the Kobe dynasty days :dunno

Demographically it makes perfect sense..I mean he practically lives in L.A.

Anybody thinking Ball is going to be extremely jealous now that the spotlight will be off of him :lol

How weird is it to see Lebron in the west coast system let alone wearing yellow in his career.

Damn, Staples center is going to clean up on ticket sales and merch :horror

This is a NBA’s merch dream now whether he fits in the organization or not.
